Hull is power washed at the end of the season and freshly painted prior to going back in the water. The mast is stored in a garage. The owner states they have had this Southern Cross since 1979! Stock #308972 Wow, Rare Find! 1979 Southern Cross 31! Ready to set sail! Sail the Gulf of Maine and beyond with this classic 1979 Southern Cross. A variety of sails will get you through most any wind. There is a 20 HP Vetus diesel engine to help you along. The heavy 7-ton displacement will keep you sturdy on the sea. Exterior trim is teak and mahogany, interior trim is Mahogany. Full keel with keel hung rudder and tiller combo. In total, 130 boats were built between 1976 and 1987, of which a number were sold as hull and deck kits. This boat was built in Rhode Island By CE Ryder who built it with a fiberglass hull. SI-TEX Colormax 11 chart plotter is included. The cockpit is small, suitable for the ocean. Reason for selling is life changes.

This Classic Winner Wildcat II outboard runabout is a remarkable boat. For those who like the retro design and spirit of these increasingly rare boats, this offer is suited for you. I have included some history of its lineage along with some current examples of other Winner Boat Enthusiasts throughout the world at this site. It has a fiberglass hull, is 17.5 feet long and 86 inches at the beam. The boat weighs approximately 1250 pounds empty. Despite the fiberglass hull on this runabout, I recommend that the boat be kept dry and covered. This will help preserve the value and help the craft persevere. It has been thoroughly gone over and reconditioned where needed. As one knows, I will never recover the time and money that I invested in this love affair, but isn’t that how it goes? This trailer was made by Midwest Industries, Ida Grove, Iowa for “Shore Land’r”. Model Identification: GvWR GAWR, Single axle. Measures 18'8" in length and 6'2" width. Accessories include: Blue canvas bimini top with aluminum frames (one pole is slightly creased) Floatation devices, fenders, and cushions Anchor and line Spare propeller Hummingbird LCR 300 fish finder Gauges (un-hooked) Boat ladder (3 step standard) Vortex heavy duty boat cover (new) I will also consider trading for cash and two sea kayaks.
