This is the updated version of the original 260 Sundancer introduced in 1999. This Second Generation 260 benefits from freshened styling, a revised cockpit layout, and minor cosmetic and hardware upgrades in the cabin. Quality does not come cheap, and this boat was at the top of the chart when built. On the used market, that quality makes her one of the best buys on the market with her sturdy construction and best in class finish. In the cockpit, wrap around seating leaves room for passengers to easily move about, and the wet bar features a sink, storage, and removable cooler. An electric engine compartment hatch provides good engine access. Below decks, the 260 Sundancer boost big-boat amenities and style, with a parchment-colored headliner and high-gloss wood laminate cabinetry. The mid-berth is big enough for two, but access is tight. The deep transom storage compartment with gas assisted lid is a nice touch. Not lightweight, a single 300hp Mercruiser I/O tops out at 30+ knots.
