She is powered by a Chevy 350 V-8 Mercruiser Bravo drive, Trim Tabs, teak swim platform, and her floor seems to be solid as a rock. We sounded her hull and did a water test on her gel coat and she did great on both. If I were 10 years younger I would go for it. Alas, my time has passed and it for a younger man to restore her to her glory. It will not take much. She will take you out for a swim, take you fishing, pull you on a tube, or just for a real nice cruise down the intercostal. Whatever the task, she will do it very well. 1987 Formula 242 LS
I have a 1987 Fomula 242 LS. I am the second owner and bought it in 2000. NEEDS MOTOR WORK. It has been sitting for about 3 years now and we decided not to fix it up. There is a bimni top with vinyl windows to make a full enclosure. There is a black cover as well. New outdrive and the floor is solid with NO weak spots.
