This is a 2001 34-foot Mainship Pilot in excellent condition. It is a beautiful boat with a recently painted, emerald green Awlgrip hull, green canvas, and white deck. The boat has all the right equipment, including a 4212 (12-inch) Garmin chart plotter and sonar, to lead the way on the water and to find those fish. For anglers, there are plenty of rod holders on the gunnels and on the radar arch. A Ray Marine autopilot provides a break from steering to those far-away destinations, and a 5KW Next-Gen Generator allows you all the comforts when underway or when anchored. The bow thruster provides easy maneuvering and docking. Double skipper and mate’s seating provides plenty of room to stretch-out while underway. Twin lounges behind the skipper and mate’s seats allow you to kickback when you reach your destination. A huge built-in cooler at the end of the lounge behind the mate’s seat, provides plenty of room to cool your drinks and food or to keep those freshly caught fish. A built-in icemaker under the mate’s seat supplies ice for your favorite drinks or the cooler.
Inside the beautiful cabin, is a well-equipped galley, very large dinette, and a generous v-berth forward. Dinette seating converts to a queen bed; allowing the boat to sleep four adults. The boat has plenty of storage for those long voyages. The head is nicely equipped with a Vacu-Flush head, shower, exhaust fan and plenty of storage under the vanity. The general theme of the cabin is a warm wood interior in great condition; including a teak and holly sole on the cabin floor. An upgraded 16K air conditioner easily handles cooling of the cabin in the hottest of Florida’s summers. All in all…a very comfortable boat!
The engine is 370 HP Yanmar diesel that sips fuel. A professional Certified Diesel mechanic maintains both the engine and the generator. This is an economical cruising boat, which burns 8 to 10 gallons of fuel an hour at a cruising speed of 15 knots (20 MPH); with a top speed of about 20 knots (26 MPH). Docked at our at home, the canal is behind a lock and the waterway is fresh water. Fresh water is very kind to the boat, as the engine gets a 6-mile fresh water rinse each time we return home from a cruise. Of course, the top-side gets a rinse from the hose as well.
We have owned and loved this boat for 6-years, but health concerns forces this sale.
