The h28 Is a European sailboat in production since the mid-1970s. With a fine entry and narrow beam the boat works well to windward and sails well in light air. The boat is easily handled by one person. The jib sheets lead to new Lewmar #14 self-tailing winches. The mainsail and jibe are serviceable. Beautiful new tiller and chromed rudder bracket. Comes with an almost new Minnkota 55# thrust electric trolling motor. The lifelines and bow and stern pulpits are newly installed and the interior space and storage lockers has just been freshly painted. The boat is currently berthed in Bridgeport, CT. Reasonably priced in-water winter storage is available at the current marina. Contact Tim for details.

Reconditioned Artekno h28 race boat for sale: $6995.00 The h28 has been in production since the mid-1970s. The current European fleet numbers in excess of 6000 class boats that have been built by four yards over the years. If you Google Artekno h28 you will find pictures and videos showing how well the boat performs and why it continues to be an active fleet. With a fine entry and narrow beam the boat works well to windward and moves easily in light air. While the boat races with a crew of three it is easily sailed by a single sailor. The boat is currently set up for singlehanded daysailing. Halyards are led aft to the cockpit and all mainsail shaping controls—boomvang, outhaul, and Cunningham—are controlled at the aft end of the boom. The main sheeting system is on top of a new Lewmar #2 traveler mounted on a stainless steel mid-cockpit bridge that includes a new Edson grab bar. The main is new and is integrated into a Tides Track System®. The new low stretch jib sheets lead to new Lewmar #16 self-tailing winches. The headstay sports a Harken foil with luff tape feeder. Current auxiliary power is delivered by a Minnkota 55# thrust electric trolling motor. With ice chest, fenders, shore power, new dock lines, rewired 12 volt system with new battery and lifelines with stanchions and pulpits, the boat is ready to go sailing. I estimate that I have installed close to $10,000 in new equipment to recondition the boat for fast and fun sailing. As rigged the asking price is $6995.00. There are two power options available as an alternative to the trolling motor: a 5hp Mercury four stroke long shaft outboard with stern mounting bracket—an additional $500.00 or a Torqeedo 1003L long shaft that can mount on the side or rear of the boat based on personal preference—an additional $700.00, battery not included. New major equipment list: Mainsail and jib. Bow and Stern pulpits stanchions and new life lines. Tides track system. Lewmar self-tailing #16 winches. Nautos deck organizers and 3X and 2X rope clutches mounted on custom teak boxes. Vang-Master gas hydraulic rigid boomvang. Two Harken Magic Boxes® for sail control. Harken headstay foil with luff tape grove. The boat is listed locally as well. I reserve the right to pull the listing at any time.
