2001 Baja doug smith
If you know Baja, you will know this boat. This is a custom built boat, very limited production and the only one in WNY. There is no paint, all seven colors are in gelcoat. This Doug Smith Special Edition Team Baja has too many options to list. 454 Mags generation VI 385 hp engines with fuel injection. In 2001, GM no longer produced 454 Mags, they went to 496. I ordered this and received the last two 454s which are true high performance engines and much stronger that 496. The engines are stock except for Vortec/K&N air filter systems. The boat runs a solid 75 MPH. I have used synthetic Amsoil racing oil in engines since new. Oil changed every 25 hours and gear oil each season. Custom interior with custom monster gauges and custom controls. New batteries last year and sea water pumps replaced. Stainless steel props lab finished by Mercury Racing. Has sea water wash out system. Comes with full boat cover, cockpit cover, depth sounder, Clarion 6 dics CD with 8 speakers, dual batteries, silent choice exhaust system, twin hydraulic steering, custom carpet and swim platform with fold down ladder, hydraulic trim tabs, fire extinguisher, large trim plates, port-a-potty, Custom lighting and sleeps four. Boat comes with a custom 2001 Vanguard BAja signature trailer with hydraulic brakes and custom wheels, oreder with dual axles and larger tires for easier hauling and maneuvering.
