2004 Ranger 520VX - Merc 225 If you ever wanted a 20 foot ranger that is super affordable this is the one. This is a used 2004 Ranger 520VX which has plenty of fishing left in it. It does shows some fading of the gelcoat on the trailer fenders but it is nothing that could not be refinished to look very good. It has a Merc 225 Optimax that will push this rig to around 70mph dependent on the load. It has a Min Kota Trolling motor along with a basic Garmin fish finder at the console. The boat also includes a Ranger cover to help protect it from the weather. Their XD series of boats have some of the most aggressive hull designs when it comes to speed while still maintaining a very nice fishing platform. It has a lengthy deck, plenty of storage and will absoltuely get you to the fishing hole before anyone else. This boat is not just for performance. The owner was also a "good stick" and knew how to rig a boat. It has a Humminbird 1198 KVD edition at the console on a ram mount and a humminbird 998 at the bow. Both units have the HDI transducer so they each have side imaging and down imaging (not shared). It has a newer Motor Guide trolling motor with an onboard charger. The motor was serviced by Pit Stop Marine and runs well. The current powerhead has less than 100 hours on it. Come by and take a look at this boat. She is high end performance fun fishing or tournament machine for under $20K.
