1997 Bayliner Meridian 3388 33 feet, loa 40', 11'6" beam, 2'8" draft, upper and lower helm, hydraulic steering, well built heavy (16000 lbs) boat. Brunswick owns Bayliner, Sea Ray, Mercruiser, Mercury Outboards, Cabo, Hatteras, and Boston Whaler. All made with the same materials and engineering. Boat is almost all original, all original upholstery, fair condition some upholstery may need replacing but is good enough for me. 2 marine AC units are ice cold, stereo for upper and lower, dual steering stations, new bottom paint. BOAT RUNS GREAT! Boat has the original carpet, and is in good condition. Big kitchen with double sink, gas burners and oven, microwave, lots of stroage area, , hot water heater. The windows do not leak, never have! No damage history on the boat. This boat brand is now called Meridan, they are high quality boats going for high prices. This has straight shafts, NOT A V-DRIVE OR OUT DRIVE. This has straight shafts, 1.5 inch diameter shafts, dripless shaft seals, ZF gears (they drip some, but very little), motors spin the same way and counter rotating is done in the port gear. Bilge is very clean, I have never seen the bilge pumps work because theres never any water in there. All the Bilge pumps and switches were replaced a year ago. Batteries 1 year old, 3 of them. Very stout rudders and struts, new cutlass bearings. It has the small block GM Mercruiser 350 C.I. , 5.7 liter gas engines, small block chevys GMC, the most reliable marine engine ever made. 1000+ hours on the engine hour meters from new, however it did have new long blocks in 2007? I have no documentation on that. Motors are fresh water cooled, have new risers, run perfect start easy, no leaking/burning/smoking oil. Trawler economy! 3 MPG at 7.5 knots, 2.5 GPH, then 16 GPH at 20 knots. Boat does have some minor cosmetic issues that you cant see with a camera, scratch and chip here and there, all typical with a 17 year old Florida boat! What attracted me this boat was the King size bed in the mid cabin (under the salon) and the large V-birth, easily sleep 6+. It's a real king size bed too! Has Raymarine ST6001 autopilot, Standard Horizon large screen GPS chart plotter, depth finders at both stations, windless with foot switches, VHF, etc. Westerbeke 5KW gas generator has 322 hours, runs good but needs stator for back end. Just spent 3K on cutlass bearings, zincs, misc, and bottom paint 8 months ago. Lowest priced one on Yacht world is 39K, Clear florida title in my name, registered in Fla. Boat is in Key Largo and can be viewed prior to auction end. TRADE? Would consider a very nice trailer boat 21-25 nothing older than 2000, with outboard or shamrock.
