1973 Bertram 28 Flybridge If you have been looking for a pedigreed pocket sportfisherman that has proven offshore capabilities as well as perfect utility, then look no further than this restored 28 Bertram. With over 1800 of the 28s built between 1973 and 1985, this is the most popular sportfisherman ever built and most are still in action around the world. Reelax is a nice example of the famous 28 Bertram. She was lovingly restored in 2007-2008, with additional upgrades done in 2012 with an open checkbook. Over $125,000 has been spent bringing her up to modern standards. The hull was completely disassembled and nearly everything mechanical and cosmetic was replaced or restored, including all three fuel tanks, main engines, shafts (over-sized), rudders, props, thru-hulls, wiring, controls, interior, glass, instrument panels, paint, plumbing, chrome, stainless and nearly every bolt and screw- the list goes on. She is dry-stored, turn-key and ready to fish or cruise. She is ready to go! Yes, there are cheaper 28s out there, but very few have been repowered, new fuel tanks (an absolute must for a 28 with fiberglass tanks), AC/Heat, new electronics- one can easily spend over 100k bringing one up to reliable condition.

1988 Bertram 50 Convertible Bertram 50 Convertible This Bertram is one of, if not THE nicest, 50's out there and is truly capable of long-range fishing adventures. This is a beautiful boat that commands attention and respect both at and away from the dock. You'll be happy you viewed this well-maintained and equipped sport fishing yacht. I am proud to represent this tastefully refurbished Bertram that was a FRESHWATER boat until May 2012. All fishing items including a Rybovich fighting chair and Pipewelders Outriggers were added since then and the boat is in excellent shape. Since November 2013, the owner has redone the interior including carpets, couches, and bedspreads, as well as new light fixtures, wall coverings, coaming pads and cushions! Every bit of work has been itemized and kept in detailed logs. Boat also includes the original manuals so you get a complete history. New canvas, coaming bolsters, battery chargers, AC compressors, interior paint were completed in June 2014. Fresh bottom paint in 2013 with new zincs and the bottom is kept scrubbed clean. Every pump, macerator, and thru-hull was inspected and/or replaced in December 2013. New batteries in December 2013. Port engine was rebuilt in December 2013. The Starboard engine was rebuilt in Summer 2014. Engines have less than 50 hours and the boat itself only has 1300 hours of use. Twin ONAN 8kw generators with 1067 and 886 hours provide plenty of power away from the dock. The owner of this boat was not afraid to spend money to keep it pristine. Electronics include a Garmin 7212 networked to 5212 chartplotter with a Garmin 72 Mile Open Array and the ability to watch Satellite TV and engine room cameras on the bridge! From PowerBoat Guide: "A beautifully styled boat whose muscular profile will probably never be dated, the Bertram 50 Convertible is considered by many to represent the state of the art in production 50-foot sport- fishermen. Built on a rugged deep-V hull with cored hullsides and a relatively wide beam, her superb seakeeping and handling qualities are almost legendary. Initially offered in a three- stateroom layout with the galley up, a spacious two-stateroom, galley-down interior with an enormous salon became available in 1988. A transom door and tackle center were standard in the cockpit, and a wrap- around helm console eliminates the need for an overhead electronics box. A good performer, 735hp 8V92 diesels will cruise at 24 knots (27 knots top) with a range of over 400 miles."
