"Dream Catcher' was repowered in 2005 with twin Cummins QSM11's with 660hp each, which gives her much better speeds, fuel economy, `range` and dependability. With the new power the owner reports a cruising speed of 26 - 27 knots and at 25 knots, she is only burning approximately 55gph. She has been modified to carry 980 gallons of fuel, which gives you the range to reach your favorite long distant fishing grounds.
When she was in the process of being repowered, the generator was replaced with a Power Tech 12.5kw, one piece newer style frameless salon windows were installed, hull side port hole windows were replaced with stainless steel framed port hole windows, custom spray-fast rails were installed, custom cockpit tackle center was added, new custom bridge console, a new Glass Tech fiberglass cockpit deck, front salon window were glassed in, cockpit freezer plus much, more.
She also received new top notch electronics in 2011.
The engine repower and her many other recent updates, set her apart from the other 46' Bertrams on the market and make her a One-Of-A-Kind!
