PRICE REDUCED FROM $139,000 TO $99,000. Here's a chance to own one of the first classic 31ft Bertrams. This vessel has hull no. 146 and was built during the first year of these models. The boat is called the "Chula." She's had only one owner for the last 35 years. Much love, time. planning, and money has been lavished on Ms. Chula over these years. She has been rigged for fishing and long range traveling (overnight stays and she hasn't disappointed. The boat has caught 1000s of quality sport fish and won numerous fishing trophies. -The Chula has been completely rebuilt from the hull up. The lower station steering station, v-birth toilet, cabin sink ice box, and water tank under the cabin floor plus all of the cockpit has been replaced with a standup head, an AC/DC refrigerator, series of cabinet drawers, an 80 gallon stainless steel fuel tank in the cabin sole and a 260 gallon stainless steel fuel tank under the center of the cockpit, with a four scoop custom built bait tank in the center of the cockpit. - The boat is powered by twin 300hp Cummins diesel engines 6BTA 5.9 M-2, turbo charged with aftercoolers. Both engines have been completely rebuilt with new Cummins long blocks. The port engine now has 2000 hours and the starboard has 500. -The transmissions are Twin Disc model MG-506-1. The boat has a 4.5KW generator and hydraulic steering with a Com-Nav 1420 autopilot. - The Chula has a stainless steel tuna tower with a bridge instrument box. The bridge is enclosed in izenglass with a custom made 12" acrylic venture windshield to deflect wind and spray. Spotlights and a captains chair for fish finding and an e ticket ride are up above. = @ 18' Precision Outriggers with 3 position maximizers. Handmade teak bow plank and new Lewmar anchor wench. Full electronics and much, much more.
