This 1983 Atlantic Long Range 47 is a handsome motor yacht that, back in her day, was among the most luxurious on the water. She is well designed and well laid out and her quality still shows today.
Her Deep Modified vee, wide beam, and shallow keel give the Atlantic 47 a smooth and comfortable ride. Her twin Detroit Diesels push her nicely at a cruising speed of around 10mph, topping out around 15 mph.
Two of her three staterooms are well laid out and cozy with two private heads. The master head rivals any home residential bath. The third stateroom has been converted into a laundry utility room.
The galley is well equipped with modern electric appliances and the "C" shaped dinette has recently been reupholstered.
Additionally, she comes with two salons, including the enclosed aft deck, whose dimensions are considerably more generous than those of most other motor yachts her size. This turns her afterdeck into an air-conditioned, roomy salon.
