My husband and I are selling this beautiful houseboat we have owned for 5 years due to health reasons, we have decided to travel and see a bit more of the United States that neither of us have seen, before we are unable to do so.
This houseboat has been taken great care of & loved very much by every owner, it is a 1982 Sumerset and it comes with a Custom Built Semi Trailer! Motor Hours are Starboard side 483 and Port 457. Motor size 165 Mercruiser 6 cylinder twin with tilt & trim. Trailer will pass DOT inspection. Height on trailer is 14.3, Length 78 feet with trailer. I have pulled this houseboat with this trailer approximately 60 miles and it pulled great with no problems. We have removed all top rails and fly-bridge so it is ready to haul, for transport all you need is some straps, flags, signs and semi to pull it with!
We have put New Custom Hand Made Heavy Drapes in 2012-2013 throughout the boat, you can see the colors of the living/dining room ones if you look at the background of the picture of our friend with our dog on the living room couch, (our dog is more like our child & is very well trained and she has had no pottie accidents etc... on the boat by the way).
This houseboat has a Very Spacious Kitchen/Galley area and has plenty of storage for dishes as well as food items.
The houseboat is a 66'x16' Double Decker with Sundeck and can be operated from the top or bottom (inside) helm. It has Twin Mercruiser Motors & Outdrives they and the Generator were all serviced in 2012 such as but not limited to: (bearings, seals, cable, hose, gas lines, batteries, filters, alternator and new hoses for generator, etc...).
It has an Aluminum Hull that is in Excellent Condition! It has two Cruise Airs one in front and one in back.
There is an 80 Gallon Freshwater Tank & an 80 Gallon Black water Tank with pump out capability.
It has a 2000 Watt Power Inverter.
It has 4 New Interstate Batteries & Cables in 2013!
It has Baseboard Heating throughout the boat, along with Central Heating & Air Conditioning, (A/C Unit had a New fan & motor in 2012)!

A Very Unique Custom Made One-Of-A-Kind Water Fall / Sprayer off the back of the Upper Deck pulls in Cool Lake Water from down lower on hot days when the surface water is even a bit warm to cool you off, (Children & Adults Both Really Love It! We had people who didn't like to get in the water for whatever reasons, riding their paddle boats under it)!
A Beautiful Wet Bar inside the houseboat in the Dining Room area across from Kitchen/Galley area is very handy, with a New Ice Maker,(2013) just underneath for those "frozen concoctions" or just a cool glass of sweet tea!
Plus an Extremely Handy Trash Compactor with extra bags!
It has an LP Stove, an Electric Refrigerator, and a New Microwave, (2012).
The Super Comfy Whirlpool 2 Person Tub & Shower is all a couple could ask for as far as romantic comfort!
The Master Bedroom/Stateroom is equipped with two pocket doors, one pocket door leads to the hallway with the bunks and another pocket door leads to the bathroom/head! Nicely positioned His & Hers Closets in the Master Bedroom/Stateroom plus an extra closet for coats/shoes/purses makes for plenty of storage, and you even have your own large sink with wall mirror in your Master Bedroom/Stateroom! This is also the location of the "Laundry Closet" which I always found handy to be able to have guests stay the night and still get my laundry done in the evenings while others are asleep. The Bunk Beds in the Mid Bedroom/Stateroom have a Queen Size Bed on the Bottom and a Twin Size Bed on Top with Curtains for privacy from the hallway/walkway!
This houseboat also has a Built in Battery Charger 15 Amp.
Ceiling fans throughout including outside on the Large Front Deck!
New LP tanks with cover 2012.
Sound System throughout the boat top and bottom!
Custom Built Semi Trailer made especially for this houseboat could use some paint, (please see pictures).
We will be removing our personal items such as: clothes, tools, some mementos from friends etc...
This houseboat has had only 4 owners and has been very well kept up, we still have the original service manuals on most of the equipment.
There are just too many extras to mention.
But I must say that the Original Real Wood Paneling is in excellent shape and the wooden beams on the ceiling make you feel like you are home as soon as you walk in.
On a personal note; We have a tremendous amount of love & respect for this boat/vessel and would like to see it go to someone who will love and respect it as much as we have.
