1987 Victoria Sloop 34 "The Victoria 34 is a lovely, blue-water cruising boat that was designed by naval architect Chuck Paine, and built to Lloyds standards in England by the respected firm of Victoria Marine. She is a well-balanced boat, with great pointing ability, a safe cruising underbody, and a sweet downeast sheer."  This is a great buy and will not last long.  More photos to come!  Our Victoria is being sold as a fraction of the cost!  Please read the report provided below!    GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This hull is a reinforced fiberglass molding hand laid up using unidirectional fiberglass fibers and polyesters resin. It is stiff in width webs, floors, bulkheads, and joinery flanges. The hull design incorporates a modified thin type keel with encapsulated ballast. The yacht is sloop/ cutter rig and powered with a Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel auxiliary engine. BOTTOM: The underwater surface was found smooth and fair and no signs of recent grounding. The bottom paint was in poor condition, should be stripped and refinished. The through hull fittings are bronze and in fair condition as sighted. However, none were removed for inspection. The propeller shaft is 1-inch diameter stainless steel supported with a rubber stern bearing in an outside bronze housing bolted to the skeg molding. The propeller is a 3-blade feathering wheel type. The topsides are white gel coat finish in fair condition. DECKS: The decks cabin top and cockpit are a single reinforced fiberglass sandwich molding with end grain balsawood and plywood cores.  The bulkwarks are molded with the deck and capped with 1-inch x 3-inch teak laid flat and finished bright in fair condition. Cabin ventilation is from two cabin top hatches, two cabin top ventilators on teak dorades plus seven opening ports. Some repair is in order. The yacht has stainless steel bow and stern rails with double lifelines and port and starboard gates. The cockpit has a canvas dodger with stainless steel bows. The canvas is in good condition other than some loose stitching. GROUND TACKLE: Boat is equipped with Danforth anchor and a 35 lb. CQR loose on deck. INTERIOR: Below deck the cabin spaces are finished with teak and formica/ plastic laminate finished panels. All limiting access to the hull and deck molding for inspection. Bulkheads throughout are plywood, teak veneered, in cabin spaces, and tabbed to the hull with no signs of movement. The cabin top in way of the mast opening is reinforced by the main bulkhead, corner post, and enclosure panel for the head. The chainplates are internal type, constructed of stainless steel flat bar and bolted thought the deck. TANKS: The water tanks (2) are rubber bladder type locate
