You are looking at a 1969 17' Boston Whaler. This boat is in need of complete restoration in and out. Ive tried to take some up-close pics to show its condition. There are small areas of fiberglass missing or peeling here and there. I see a hole in the front that is probably 3 inches around. The trailer is in excellent condition. It is an early 2000s from what Im told. The rollers work perfectly. It has brand new tires and rims. The axle and springs are in excellent shape. The trailer will need lights. I have a clear title for the boat and no paperwork for the trailer. The boat will come with the title and a bill of sale. The trailer will come with a simple bill of sale only. This will make a great project for little money. Boat must be picked up in Cranston RI. There are absolutely no returns on this boat. It is a project boat and comes exactly as you see it. Up for sale is a somewhat rare and sought after Aluminum 1966 21' Starcraft Sunchief I/O with a 3.0l Mercruiser Alpha 1. Over all the hull is extremely sound and dry as a bone. Dash Cluster, Running Lights, Horn etc etc are all original and show very nice vintage issue. Outdrive is newly rebuilt with ZERO hours. The 1987 GM iron Duke 3.0l runs but has an issue I cannot pinpoint and probably needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The block itself is good with no cracks. Remanufactured engines can be had for $1800 with a core turned in. I'd say what your buying here is the very desirable Sunchief hull in all it's former glory with great lines and tons of project potential.The Sunchief sits on a tandem axle iron trailer in good shape and is included.Due to age there is no title and the transaction will be conducting via a Bill of Sale with notary if desired.

Price includes 1990-1992 Wellcraft 215 Eclipse Bowrider and trailer. Boat Hull in good condition. Trailer in good condition, new tires. Mercruiser V8 inboard. Boat engine does not currently operate. No key for the boat. No battery for the boat. The seats and cushions are all in poor condition. Boat cover is included but is in poor condition. Title in hand for boat and trailer. Boat was professionally inspected in August 2015 by a local marina and the engine oil seals leak and there are a number of other problems with the engine. You are buying this either for the trailer, to fix up the boat or for parts. You are responsible for picking up the boat, located at a marina in Barrington, RI USA. No returns. Everything sold as a package and as is. Reasonable offers accepted, this would be a great project for a DYI who knows something about fixing or overhauling boat engines. Current owner does not have this skill set so it has to go.Christmas is just around the corner, would make an excellent gift for a handy man or handy lady.

I have owned this boat since 1989 and she has provided us with such wonderful memories. She has been as far as Nantucket and Long Island Sound many times. I did re-power in 1996 and the engine currently has 608 Hours. A new outdrive has been ordered and should be in anytime now. The MerCuriser 350 Magnum delivers 260 Hp. I did just uncover and have not had a chance to clean up the cabin or sides of the boat but she really cleans up well. All cushions are in our house and have not been put on the boat at the time I took the pictures. The canvas is original and needs repair or replacement. The refrigerator is shore or battery power and the stove is shore power or alcohol. It's also listed on Craigslist with more pictures. Due to health issues we were not able to put the boat in the water last summer and approaching retirement we have decided to purchase a camper and head south for wintertime this year.
