Kids are off to college and we are not using the boat like we used to so we decided to put it up for sale. We made the video a little over a week ago to show how great the boat still is. The boat does not vibrate or anything, in the video when I am driving I am holding my camera with one hand and I shake, it runs as smooth as the day I bought it. I purchased it about 10 years ago from an individual in Ohio who maybe put in in the water a few times. Over the last 10 years we have had it out a total of 10 to 15 times a year during the summer months and it has never been in saltwater. The only mechanical issue I ever had with is was to replace an alternator. It is always covered and for eight months of the year it has been garage kept all it life. The engines run strong and I have always run royal purple engine oil it it, it is more money but they way the engines run, I always felt it was worth it.. http://www.royalpurple.com/ The haul is in great shape and there are only a few scratches in a few of the decals which came from a dock on one of the first times I ever drove the boat 10 years ago. The interior is in good shape for its age, if I were to have it another year I would probably get the rear seat cushions redone. Also with Wireless depth-finder does not work but I am never in a place I have to worry so I never replaced it, the LED just wore dim over time. I did purchase the wakeboard tower from California and put it on over eight years ago, it is solid stainless steel and still looks great, it does fold down for winter storage. I have a new mooring cover I purchased a few years ago and the original but the original is not in great shape, I just put it on when it is in the garage for the winter. Besides that it is a great boat and ready to run. We have a place on the Potomac River and it is ready to go, we will be using it until we sale it. Video of the Boat - http://youtu.be/V9aNdmYlTKg Other Points 2003 Yamaha SR230 sport boat is the boating industry's first 23-foot, 10-person bow rider to deliver the convenience and confidence of a dual engine design; and is the first sport boat to offer a revolutionary stern design that becomes your private patio on the water. Continuing Yamaha's commitment to low emission, low noise technologies, the SR230 is powered by high-horsepower, fuel-injected four-stroke Yamaha marine engines, renowned as the most reliable engines in the boating industry. The SR230 exceeds the Federal EPA 2006 emission requirements, and has earned a California C.A.R.B. two-star rating for very low emissions. Yamaha's patented jet propulsion system delivers excellent performance and makes every inch of the spacious lounging area in the stern usable and comfortable. Competitive Advantage 280 horsepower, Yamaha marine jet drive system Powered by dual Yamaha four-stroke marine engines Stern opens to a private patio Multiple storage compartments Premium JVC radio/CD system - CLEAN JET BOAT The 20-degree deadrise hull is constructed of multiple layers of glass with stiffening sandwich-core reinforcements. A full fiberglass liner incorporates the stringers and engine mounts, making construction elegantly simple -- and sturdy. The engine mounts are also equipped with aluminum plates to take the extra stress off the stringers. But research -- and plenty of personal experience -- shows most boaters use their rigs as a place to hang out on the water. That's where the designers of the SR230 did their homework and embellished a great transom platform with creature comforts not found on other runabouts. it does also have a stowaway dinette table and the awesome upholstered lounges to give you an area to recline and relax -- sort of like couch potatoes with a lake view! 1.
