Perfect 4-season Northwest cruising sailboat with large bright pilothouse, well insulated hull, and warm diesel stove. This is not a motorsailer. She sails beautifully! Incredibly roomy with huge storage space. Offset double berth forward. U-shaped galley with head opposite. PH has two settees and table, plus seats for both pilot and copilot. She has a tall easy to manage sloop rig with roller furling on both sails. Also includes a cruising spinnaker in a sock and a storm sail. Her keel is steel, filled with lead, and is deep and long. She has a skeg and a deep transom-hung rudder. She can be steered by tiller in cockpit or wheel (hydraulic) in the PH. She has top of line autopilot networked with 10" Garmin chartplotter and radar, as well as Icom VHF, stereo and DVD player. Length of hull is 32'(overall less than 35'); LWL 26'6" draft 5'6-5'9"; beam 11'8"; dry displacement 12,100#. Built in Burnaby, BC in 1986. Hull and engine installation by Hotfoot Boats, with completion by an employee of Hotfoot in his spare time. Engine is original Volvo MD17d (3100 hours) located in center of boat. Serious tankage for cruising: 100 gal water in 2 fiberglass tanks, 50 gal fuel in SS tank (plus 2 gallon day tank for stove), and 24 gal waste in fiberglass tank. Has capstan windless and two anchors. All new wiring and panels in 2008. Altogether 6 batteries. Automatic Halon fire extinguishing system in engine room. Fresh paint through much of interior. I am looking for a quick sale and have priced it accordingly. Buy now and enjoy a summer of cruising! The people who love this boat are those who like to watch the shoreline moving by and keep an eye on the horizon from a warm dry place. Meanwhile, the person who loves pure sailing can experience it fully at the tiller. The current slip is available to the new owner, who would very much enjoy having a home away from home in Friday Harbor. Many more photo's are available. I am also available by telephone. Please request my telephone number by asking a question of me through eBay. The boat is also for sale locally. Please tell me if you want the sale to be conditional upon satisfactory survey and/or sea trial. This would need to be done in a timely fashion. Consideration of contingencies like this may make any offer more or less desirable. Thank you!
