1968 Chris Craft Commander Flybridge This vessel sank in fresh water at the marina during Tropical Storm Lee. Boat was down for less than 12 hours and brought to a boat yard where she was cleaned and motors were flushed and pickled. There are NO soft spots what so ever in the fiberglass, she has a very strong and solid hull. I just do not have the time to restore the interior and get her back in the water. Boat just had new running gear professionally installed, shafts, couplers, struts, rudders, props and rudder logs. All sea strainers have been rebuilt and re-sealed. All has less than 10 hours run time. Motors have approximately 650 hours on past rebuild. They are twin 327ci and the Motors have been flushed and filled with diesel. I have removed the through hull transducers, upper and lower steering helms and some through hull valves. For someone that has the time, this is a great vessel. I wish I did. The sinking of the vessel was due to tight lines, wind, rain and tidal surge over the starboard stern. I do have a NAMMS Survey from 11/2010 when i purchased the vessel.
