Well, the lake ice came up and did a number on my canoe. Since I rarely used it anyway, my first reaction was to cut it in half so I can get it to the nearest scrap metal yard. I already called Rifkin Scrap Metal in Traverse City and got a ballpark estimate of $30-40 in scrap aluminum. Then I thought that if someone out there has some experience or knows someone who can bump it out then they will have a canoe for $30. If you want it don't hesitate.
