This classic 1986 Ericson 30 is part of the first robustly-built Ericson boats built in 1985 by Bruce King. This Ericson 30 handles well in weather and could make a comfortable liveaboard. The boat is well-balanced and sails both on and off the wind under headsail only, making it easy to sail single-handedly. You'll love the large cockpit with its curved helmsman's perch to compensate for varying degrees of heel. The angled seatbacks make it comfortable for the crew. Below deck, the layout is spacious and inviting. The dark blue cushions set off the teak used throughout the boat. The sole is teak and holly. If you're standing by the companionway ladder, the galley is located to port and opposite is a forward-facing navigation table whose seat is the head of the quarter berth. Moving into the salon, there is a teak table surrounded by large wraparound seats which convert to form a double berth, and a long settee to starboard. There is storage space under the seat. The V-berth in the forward cabin contains lots of storage space under hatches and in drawers. There is a hanging locker for clothing. The head is aft of this cabin to port and contains a toilet, a sink, a shower, and storage space. Remove the companionway ladder and you have excellent access to the engine. One look into the huge floor plan of the Cape Horn 22OS and you realize it is something special. Flip up the front seat and you can step down into the center console with 5‘4″ of headroom and standard manual flush toilet. The huge 40 gal. live well behind the leaning post will make sure you never run out of bait. The aft cockpit boasts one of the largest work stations of any other in this size class. It has plenty of room for multiple anglers to go toe to toe without getting in each others way. The European non-skid pattern molded into the floor is quite unique in it’s oval type pattern. The removable cooler with top cushion is a nice optional addition if more seating or cooler space is a must. Add the front bow cushion to create a relaxing spot when your ready for a break. All veteran anglers will appreciate the 27 rod holders located where you need them. Rod boxes in the sides allow for (4) more rods to be in storage. The step-up in the bow makes throwing a cast-net easy and also adds the space for a huge storage box forward.

1997 Carver 430 Cockpit Motor Yacht This vessel has Twin Cummins 330hp diesels with ONLY 435 hours. She's hardly been used, as she is taken out of the water each fall and stored away under cover until spring. The vessel can be easily boarded from the port and starboard deck gates or from the cockpit through the transom door. The cockpit provides room for a fun day of fishing diving or sun worshiping. Other cockpit features include below deck storage swim platform and a sliding door access to the aft cabin. A semi spiral staircase gives access to the elevated aft sundeck. This area has a fiberglass hard top with a three sided enclosure. Port starboard plexi-glass doors provide easy access to the side decks. Other appointments include a wet bar with a refrigerator and ice maker. Four steps up from the aft deck is the centrally located console for the flybridge helm station. From the captain’s chair there is 360 degree unobstructed visibility. Additional bench seating is located forward and aft of the helm. A full array of electronics along with full engine instrumentation makes this boat a pleasure to command. The forward deck has a long cushion for sunbathers and a Bomar hatch provides forward cabin ventilation. From the aft deck it is five steps down to the salon. The salon boasts an entertainment system to port with a large flat-screen TV JVC stereo system. There is a large L-shaped settee to starboard and a small ottoman across. The overhead is an off-white vinyl with recessed halogen lights. Most cabinets and wall coverings are finished in a light color, which was an option, and easily makes the boat feel much bigger than it is. White horizontal window blinds provide shade and privacy.
