2001 Sea Doo Utopia 185,This is a 2001, second-owner Sea Doo 185 Utopia, 8 passenger Jet Boat. This is an excellent family cruiser and water ski boat - it is AWSA certified. With 4 adults & 3 kids this boat cruises at over 40 mph. Purchased in 2006, my former boss was the first owner. Powered by a 210 hp Mercury M2 Jet drive. Oil & fuel injected means no mixing gas, 30+ gal tank means hours on the water without refilling. No hour meter, best guess is under 200 hours. Stored on a boat lift in summers, garaged winters. Goods: Replaced impeller & wear ring March/2014 for $1500 - both were original and replaced only due to normal wear. Mechanically perfect, cosmetically 13 years old with expected blemishs but in good shape. Bimini top is perfect, driver & spotter seats good. Bads: the front & rear seat bottoms (4) need recovering - fine for this year. Cost for this is $500, I've considered that in my asking price. Maybe do fronts now & back next year. Trailer needs a new spare, has spare rim.Features: Auto & manual bilge, working navigation & interior lights, stereo, battery tender, great storage. My family of 6 took this boat camping on Lake Superior/Apostles every summer - plenty of room for all gear & passengers and very safe on big water & fast getting home if weather changes. Includes Garmin fish locator. No carpet is a blessing for easy cleaning! Swim ladder & swim deck on the back for easy out of the water. We loved this boat & only sell to upgrade to a wakeboarding boat for my kids. NADA value is $8440 to $9550. If you replace the 4 seat skins for $500 - you have a $9550 boat.
