This has been my live aboard boat for 10 +- years. When purchased I spent 2 years dry-docked completely doing over bottom stem to stern. Sanding and coating with ma. epoxies- 4 coats. I've had a wonderful time living aboard at its current location and have met people from around the world without the need to leave the dock. Mt rent is 600 per month plus electricity- hasn't been raised once. The slip is available to next owner should they decide to do the same. Price must be negotiated with Marina owner. I recently bought a running takeout Cummins big cam 400 and a 514 twin disc 4.1 to 1 deep case transmission . Both are installed but considerable work is needed to get running. -Exhaust decisions, new electronics, hydraulic setup for steering, capstan for anchor handling and some interior completion. The builder, a marine Surveyor, spent 10 years building this boat. Though documentation expired last year it was listed as 108 net tons. I am reluctantly parting ways with boat due to financial circumstances and age. Had I the means to complete her, this ad would not be here and I would be sipping a Painkiller somewhere in the Islands. 1998 Bayliner 2452 with Mercruiser 5.0 & double axle Magic trail roller trailer. This boat was properly winterized and in storage since 2003. It has recently been restored to running condition. It’s a nice express cruiser hardtop with shore power, fridge, enclosed head, and stove. The engine runs quiet, oil pressure is good, and outdrive works well. It needs a few finishing touches to be perfect. The windshield wiper motor and horn need to be replaced. The new starter needs diagnostics as it grinds and slips but it does start and run perfect afterward. Very strong sturdy vessel (New Bedford to Marthas Vineyard in 20 knot winds). 2013 I replaced the lower unit alpha one drive for $2,300 and both hydraulic servos with new stainless steel lines a brand new carburetor this season. The engine leaks oil from a some gasket at full throttle, didn't have the time to troubleshoot and fix so that is the reason for such a lower price. It runs, I just have to maintain the oil level. Installed shore power with battery charger, power outlet 115V and a refrigerator, toilet, navigation lights and deck mood lighting, stereo with exterior speakers, sink and fresh water, spacious interior and trailer. I will throw in some winterization tools you will need. Motivated seller, I bought a bigger vessel and this one needs to go.
