The hull and deck appear solid. The rigging is period, and the wooden masts are ready for a new coat of paint. The deck is adorned with antique trunks of various styles that give the boat a pirate motif. Stock #253770 Hull is made of Honduras mahogany strip-planked and edge-nailed! One fly, three main sails and a topsail! It has a 12' 6" beam, & much more included!! This 1968 52-foot Armstrong Ketch is a wooden classic that will turn heads. The hull is made from Honduras mahogany, is 32' 4" at the waterline, and is 43 feet on deck. The hull is strip-planked and edge-nailed. There is one fly, three main sails, and a topsail. The vessel is powered by a Saab 20 HP hand-crank diesel model 2-GY367.216, has a stainless steel shaft, and a 2-blade variable displacement prop. There is a forward V-berth, pictured, without the mattresses, as they are being cleaned. There are two opposite benches in the salon area just forward of the galley that serve as single sleeping berths. There is a table over the engine compartment that serves as a prep area in the galley that is equipped with a propane stove, sink, and refrigerator freezer. A number of cabinets serve as storage compartments.

1934 Atkins 34   The Atkins 34 designed by Wm. Atkin & George Wayland was built in San Francisco by Andersen & Stephani.  It is known as a Marconi- rigged cutter.  The hull of Alaskan Yellow Cedar planks was refastened from the waterline down in 2012 with galvanized steel fasteners. The deck is constructed of 3/4" marine ply with epoxy & fiberglass cloth. Frames are of solid oak. This particular Dory was built by Kootenai River Boat & Cabinet Co. in Libby, Montana. The year is approximately 1960. The builder, a retired merchant seaman owned the shop. The Dory is one of 5 built, the other 4 are long gone. This one was almost history also, but was saved by the current owner and was fully restored in 2008. The boat was stripped to bare wood. Exterior hull was completely fiber glassed, painted with Pettit Easy poxy marine paint inside and out. Minwax UV satin poly added are oak grounding strips for hull protection. The Dory has been used and enjoyed on the lakes & rivers in the Seeley Lake, MT areas. Currently participated in the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend, Washington on September 5th - 8th, 2014. $2,400 OBO Boat is currently stored in Port Townsend, WA.
