We just purchased this car and drove it down to Utah from Washington St. for a family reunion. Unfortunately it suddenly developed a transmission issue while we were there, and because of our work my wife and I were unable to wait for the Transmission shop to do the rebuild--if we had the time this car definitely would have been worth the wait. But, now we are back in WA and are forced to sell it.
Aside from the above, (and some bad wearing in the front leather seats,) the car is in terrific condition and has been meticulously maintained, (we have a stack of all the recent service records.)
The the straight-5 engine runs very well. The power windows/locks, A.C., and other accessories work great. Tires are in decent shape.
The car currently drives in the first three gears, but has a slight ticking--since we didn't want to risk any further damage the car was towed to the mechanic. If you are interested, email me for the whole story of what happened and what the transmission mechanic found, (I could also give you his number for answers to any technical questions.) The car is currently parked at the transmission shop's lot, a serious buyer would be able to take a look at it during business hours.
