REGULATOR 24 True to its sport fishing heritage, the Regulator 24 delivers the soft dry ride that the company is known for. Powered by either a single Yamaha F350 engine or a pair of F150s, the Regulator 24 provides the total fishing package: a hardcore angling platform combined with comfort features and ample storage. The standard 385-quart center fish box can be used to keep your catch fresh or your 6 stand-up rods safe. Coupled with the port and starboard 200-quart fish/dry boxes, that’s 785 quarts of insulated storage in the bow alone. Fish won’t stand a chance when you use your skill along with the live bait stored in the 25-gallon above-deck live well. Equipped with standard forward seats and cushions as well as a 5’8" enclosed head compartment this 24 footer is ready for fun. Whether it’s the canyons 80 miles offshore or the sand island with the family, the Regulator 24 will deliver the legendary Regulator ride! Check out the link for videos/ additional information on the 24FS! http://www.regulatormarine.com/24.html I purchased this beautiful 24FS new in 2009 as a leftover 2007 model. It came factory equipped with almost every possible option, including the deluxe backrest/fishing tackle box setup, T-Top with spreader lights and LED lights, Armstrong swim ladder, Outriggers, Rocket Launchers, Lenco Trim Tabs, the works! I also had the electronics package installed by Hampton Navigation (about $9,000) for the Raymarine C120 GPS/Chartplotter, Depth Finder with in-hull transducer, and Poly Planar Receiver with 4 Marine speakers (custom installation). The system is very user friendly, and the stereo sounds great! Also, all the cushions and coaming pads were recently replaced to the tune of $3500. However, the boat shows like new!!! You would not believe it is a 2007 model. This model is powered with twin Yamaha F150TXR outboard engines, that are not only fuel efficient four strokes, but get the boat up on plane quickly! As a weekend warrior, I average about 60-80 hours per season on the boat, and the engines currently have just under 350 hours. Anyone familiar with the Yamaha brand knows these four strokes are rated to go well beyond the 2000 hour range. I have taken great pride in maintaining the boat, and the condition of the hull, deck, and electronics reflects that. I am looking to sell for the purpose of upgrading in size, and will most likely stay with the Regulator brand. Please keep in mind, however, I do not need to sell, and will not entertain low-ball offers. I will consider trades for a high end center console or express cabin style boat in the 27-32 foot range, especially if you have a Regulator and are looking to downsize. I encourage personal inspection of the boat, and sea trials will be offered for serious potential buyers. This 25' center console is a tank, and will impress even the most discerning boaters with it's ride in bad weather. Thanks and good luck bidding!
