1987 Gibson Houseboat, 1987 Gibson Standard Up for sale is a very nice 1987 36 foot Gibson Standard Houseboat with a Volvo Penta Inboard Outboard with under 700 hours. There is room to sleep 6 with plenty of room and more if needed. The boat has a kitchen with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink and more. The boat has a head (bathroom) with toilet and shower with a holding tank on board. The cuddy cabin sleeps two (or more) and is a great use of space. We have two kids and they both hang out and sleep down there (see pics). The parlor has a nice couch that folds out to a bed that can sleep two. The back cabin has a nice bed and night stand. A new Air Conditioner / Heater was installed last summer and only used a couple times. The boat stays nice and cool in the summer and plenty warm in the cooler months. There is a gas grill that stays on the boat and the back window slides opens so you can serve burgers and brats right inside to the family or off the back deck in the cove to your new lake friends. The boat has been well cared for and is located in Sullivan Marina, Sullivan Illinois just outside of Skeeters Restaurant on Lake Shelbyville. Slip Rent is $1,400.00 and is paid up through October.
