Classic 1965 Starcraft 16' vintage boat - seaworthy! Mercruiser stern drive with Glastron I/O 998. Tandem axle trailer is included. This was owned by my father and well cared for. The boat and trailer are in good condition for their age. It was not used all that much and was garaged much of its life. All it needs a little cleaning and TLC. It hasn't been run for a few years but engine does turn over, will need a new battery. Trailer and tires are in good shape. Does have minor scratches on hull, windshield is in good shape. Seats were recovered and were removed and stored in house. Have the frame for the Bimini top. Cables for steering work. Steering wheel is original. Depth sounder is original. Overall condition is impressive for a 1965 boat. Great vintage boat to restore to original beauty or use as is for cruising or fishing. Deep V style great for bay or lakes. 1965 Starcraft with 40hp Evinrude and Trailer This ia a package deal for the boat, motor and trailer. 1965 Starcraft with a 40hp Evinrude Lark and a Gator Trailer!! Total vintage time capsule!! Amazing original condition! I got this boat in a trade deal for a motorcycle and I do not have any use for it so my loss is your gain. It includes 2 fuel tanks, a ladder, and the boat, motor and trailer. I towed the boat 100 miles and it tows on the trailer great!! Everything works but the motor needs I guess it is called an input shaft? Motor pulls over great and runs great but the propeller is not turning. Maybe we screwed some thing up? The fiberglass is so nice, you feel like you went back in time!! Marine battery in the case is still hooked up. Last operated in the water in 2010. Hello, I am selling a very clean 1965 Starcraft Bahamas boat. The boat is 15 feet long. The boat is all original including the 70 horsepower Evinrude outboard motor. The motor runs great and I fired up the motor today. The boat is made of fiberglass with original turquoise paint. I installed a brand new marine starting battery. I cleaned the original fuel tanks, replaced the gasket on the tanks, and installed new fuel hose with fuel filter. All light works and the horn works. The horn is an aftermarket and I spend hours finding the right size and mounting hole to fit on the mounting hole. The floor and seat cushions are original. The trailer was repainted and the rims have been replaced. The original rims were not with the trailer when I bought the boat. I did not like the aftermarket rims so I found the solid rims, white wall tires, and a matching powder paint to powder coat the rims. The colors of the rims are close to match the original color on the boat. The boat is loaded with vintage life jackets with different sizes, Evinrude first aid kit, 4 NOS buoy caddies, Shoreline oar, 3 mermaid buoys, vintage anchor & rope, fire extinguisher, vintage folding ladder, SOS flag, Satrcraft knife, and original manuals for the boat. The boat does not have bimini top but can be found on internet. This is your chance to grab a real beauty with 90 percent originality. I also have a close matching color 1965 Rambler Ambassador that I am selling too. The Rambler is also a survivor with original paint, motor, transmission, and interior. 1965 StarCraft fiberglass boat. Blue/blue. It has a 65 horsepower 2 stroke Mercury engine with electric choke, electric start and cable steering. I believe it has a spun bushing because it will not go full speed when you're wide open on the throttle. Motor runs strong. I had it fired up last week although she can be finicky to get started. Boat seats four. Carpet and upholstery are in pretty good shape. No tears or anything like that. Boat comes with trailer, a trolling motor, fuel tank, battery, and a boat cover. I also have two spare tires for the trailer if you want them and a lock for the trailer. Asking $1,000 or best offer.
