1997 Sea Doo Challenger 1800, For Sale is our Sea doo Challenger 1800 jet boat 2 owner boat. Purchased in 2000 and have maintained her well. It is great running order. Just compounded and waxed. Green hull is NOT chalky. New winch was installed at the end of 2015 season. Also we purchased a new seadoo FACTORY boat cover in 2015. We have all documentation any necessary work completed on the boat. Unfortunately Sea doo did not put hr meters on the engines for 97'. I would estimate that we put 25-40 hrs per season on the boat since 2000. Top half of the engines were rebuilt in June of 2012. All 4 cylinders were bored out and new oversized pistons and rings installed. Carbs cleaned. Estimated...Less then 100 hours put on them since the rebuild. -Seats up to 7 comfortably -Twin 110 hp Rotax 787 engines -She likes to cruise at 35mph -She will top out at 67 mph with 2 passengers. -Radio with speakers -Bimini top -All sea doo decals were removed for a cleaner hull look. Up kept and in Excellent condition for 1997. For some reason the middle rear seat upulstry became tough unlike the others and there is a tear in the seat. All other seats/material are as soft as the day we bought her. Seats have been conditioned each year. Both engines run very strong, and are in excellent condition, you must see to appreciate. This boat will get up to 55mph on slightly rough water. I am selling my 1997 SeaDoo Challenger 1800 with Twin Rotax Bombardier engines. The boat has just been at the shop and is fully driveable. There are several things the boat would need to look in tip top shape but ill leave that for you to decide how you want to personalize it. I just had all new wiring set up and the MPEM are modified to the more prefered separate computers for each engine. The oil pump mixes perfectly fine as that was serviced as well. Many new parts were installed to make the boat run smoother. The Bimini top was never really used so it is in perfect condition. New stereo player with AM, FM, Aux etc. Kenwood speakers installed all around the interior. Interior needs reupholstering which you can choose what colors and how you want to do that. The boat needs a new trailer cause the one I have is the original one and is not in good shape. I am selling the boat as is. You can come see it and throw me an offer or eMail me at any time.

This is a 2003 Seadoo Sportster boat with a Rotax 951cc carb'd engine. The engine has low compression in the rear cylinder (60psi) and will need a complete rebuild or major repair. This boat's meter shows only 70 hours and is extremely clean! The previous owner put gas in the oil tank thus causing the engine failure. The boat is being sold as-is where is. I can install a new engine for approx $2900 additional or SBT has these motors in stock if you want to do it yourself and save a lot of money.
