The Mission The mission for "bay boats" is, well, for fishing in bays and generally protected, or skinny water. That's why they are called "bay boats." They are a great way for an angler to get out on the water at an affordable price. Add to that a 15-degree deadrise and a 150-hp engine and you will have a boat that will go fast enough for most any angler. The boat draws 13" (32 cm) with the outboard engine up. Distinguishing Features As you can see from the photos on this page, Cobia has put a lot of thought into its re-design for 2012. The builder has taken a close look at its competition and incorporated the best ideas found elsewhere plus adding a few of its own -- Deeper cockpit forward. Cobia has tried to add a feeling of added security in the bow casting area by slightly raising the bulwarks. More usable space. By carefully calibrating the necessary size of the center console and not making it too large, Cobia has been able to re-distribute several inches both forward and aft for a bit more walk-around room. By making the jump seats fold-down, a large casting platform has been created aft. A big foredeck and casting location choices. The redesigned bow allows an angler to cast from any one of three heights: standing on the bow and the anchor locker hatch, standing on the platform across the front of the cockpit on the side locker hatches, and from the cockpit sole itself. Better storage and more. By nestling the rod storage to the inside of the hull sides and providing protective tubes for 7' rods, lots of other space is left for other gear in the port and starboard lockers in the bow. This, together with the other storage forward, storage in the console, and more storage under the two jump seats, it is hard to think of a space that has not been utilized in the 21 Bay. Construction and Design When we compare the Cobia 21 Bay to several other boats in class we find that she has similar characteristics. She is not the lightest nor the heaviest in class. The builder prides itself on engineering the 21 Bay "smart", that is to say, light as possible most places, but very strong in key stress areas. We're told that no wood goes into the boat and that bi-axial fiberglass is used in its hand lay-up building process. All hardware aboard is 316 stainless and the boat has a ss rub rail, something we like to see. The boat has a self-draining cockpit.

1996 Scarab Center console, Beautiful center console Scarab completely redone. Prior to summer had a complete rewire and brand new wrap added on. Boat wrap was designed by famous south Florida artist Jason Mathis. The 26ft Scarab is powered by a very powerful 300hp Mercury Promax well maintained and strong work horse. Not the best on gas but let me just tell you the compliments we get pulling up in this beauty to our local sandbar with this the engine rumbling. If you enjoy listening to music I can assure you that no one I've ever come across in West Central Florida has come close to comparing to this boats system. Anything I do in life I cut not corners, only the best. The boat is equipped with 21 speakers total all JL M-series, on the tower you have the M880 on the rear, and 7.7 on the front, the bottom hull is lined with 7.7 and 3 10 inch subs. Powered by 3 amps and 4 batteries total, talk about a concert on the water. Also two 10ft blade power poles on the rear, battery pack so all you have to do is plug in extention cord that will never allow overcharging, GPS, fish finder, LED lighting throughout, all navigation lighting works as should, M303 Clarion deck, VHF RADIO, 6 person emergency life raft, life jackets, front anchor, and to many extras to list. At this price this boat is a steal, cash in hand talks, don't need the money but just had another baby and will be upgrading for next summer. I have a 21ft Aquasport Center Console EFI. The boat is a 1999 model with a Mercury 150. New powerhead June 2013. I have receipts from maintenance work. The boat comes with Aluminum trailer along with what is on it. Sound system, fish/depth finder,and VHF radio included. I am getting rid of it because I just purchased a bigger boat. The cushions are a little dirty, but all in great shape because I keep them in storage. The boats a little bit dirty obviously because I don't use it this time of the year. this was an estate buy from a forclosure it comes with bill of sale only the boat runs I have sprayed carb cleaner in it and pop right off it is in good shape the story I got with it was that the man went and had it gone thru in 2008 bought a new trailer for it and passed so it never hit the water after that it motor has some corrosion on it but is super clean under the cover sold as is will gaurentee to run any questions please ask
