1989 Pursuit (4 strokes! New Trailer!) FOR QUESTIONS CONTACT: MAX 561-674-3308 or This is a 1989 Pursuit 2800 Open Express powered by Twin 2003 Honda BF225 4 Strokes and includes a 2007 Trailer! This boat is completely turn key ready to go, as in, this is ready to drop in the water today for a trip to the Sandbar or to the Bahamas. BOAT: -Installed a full Wetsounds sound system - 2 SW-10FA 10in Subwoofers, 2 Pairs of SW- 808 8in Speakers, driven by a Sinister SD6 Amp. For those who don't know Wetsounds, it is better, louder, and hits harder than JL M-series, they only sell through a very vetted dealer network. -Installed a full Raymarine nav. suite including 2 10.4in HSB2 displays, 10kw open array bird finding radar (highest power open array radar Raymarine made at this time), 1kw sounder and M260 in-hull 1kw transducer. -Installed a Sitex SP-110 Autopilot -Installed an Icom IC-M504 VHF radio -Replaced fuel tanks - installed twin 135 gallon tanks, USCG cert., custom welded by AIM welding, 3/16 aluminum (as opposed to standard 1/8in), coal tar epoxied. Valve system allows each motor to run off of each tank, or both motors to run off of the same tank. -Had a full custom Stratoglass enclosure made for the boat -Installed Etec Outriggers, similar to Taco Top Gun or Lee's Sidewinder etc. except poles are 1/4in wider. These lay down and have handles to deploy from inside the cockpit. -Completely awlgripped the bottom for a very clean look -Installed TACO spray rails that run down each side from the bow to midships - very effective at reducing spray in a quartering head sea. -Installed a new Newmar Phase 3 40 amp battery charger -Replaced leaky Bennett hydraulic trim tabs with new Lenco Trim Tabs -Installed a set of Mercury Mirage Plus SS Props for best performance and best economy. -Moved batteries midship for better weight distribution MOTORS: -Repowered with twin 2003 Honda BF225 4 Strokes - Around 1150 hours and going strong! -Added new digital gauge cluster in a custom pod. -Added Teleflex KE-4 Electronic Controls, very smooth shifting! Have spare binnacle, ecu, and actuator which will go with the boat! TRAILER: -Replaced bearings, hubs, and tires with super E rated Maxxis tires ($250/each) -Replaced drum brakes with all stainless Kodiacs on both axles for full Florida legal compliance (the parts alone were over $2000 my cost) -Converted the trailer to EHB at a cost of over $2000, makes for very effective braking and very safe trailering PERFORMANCE: -Holds 270 gallons of fuel, Fuel burn at cruise is around 1.5 mpg average, can get 1.7-1.8mpg light, 1.2-1.3mpg heavy. These are real numbers. Cruises comfortably around 25 knots when calm, 18 knots when snotty, tops out around 41 knots. DETAILS: -5 tackle stations (yes 5!) -7 Lees Gunnel Mount Rod Holders, 10 more rod holders attached to the hard top -Freshwater system -Freshwater and Saltwater washdowns -40 gallon livewell -5 bilge pumps including a 3800 GPH emergency crash pump -Large macerated fishbox -Head with macerator and waste tank with Y-valve (fully USCG compliant) -V-Berth for comfortably sleeping 2 adults -Extra aft cabin storage area -Stove, sink, refrigerator -12v Air Conditioning, no generator required! -Ocean LED 2010 underwater light -2 Lumitec red/white LED spreader lights -Taco red/white helm area tube light -The boat comes with a full USCG safety package, including fire extinguisher (1 year old), flares (good til 2015), 4 adult life preservers, a type iv throwable pfd, and a whistle. -Title in hand for both boat and trailer.
