1970 Alberg 30 "Sugar" is a very rare find! She is a classic 1970 Alberg 30 which has been upgraded into a modern cruising boat. Owned by the owners of a prominent marine canvas business in St. Augustine, she has been expertly and professionally restored and cared for. Her 18 HP Yanmar engine has undergone regular maintenance and has under 350 hours on it (be sure to view the video!). The rigging and sails are only three years old. Both interior and exterior have been totally redone. This is a classic full-keeled cruiser/racer designed by Carl Alberg, with a beautiful sheer and graceful overhangs. These boats were raced extensively before the more modern racing designs took over, and they can still hold their own against the modern fleet. 1984 Alberg 22 Do you like Cape Dory Yachts? This is an Alberg 22, designed by the same Carl Alberg that designed the Cape Dory Yachts and many others. Classic lines and timeless tradition make the statement for this great full keel boat. She was built by Nye Yachts in Canada and was quality built. In 2013, Severance was completely and professionally refitted and painted on the exterior with Awl-Grip, the same paint used to protect aircraft. There are some sling mark scrapes in the paint, on the starboard side, forward and aft. All of the deck hardware, including the toe rails, were rebedded and a bronze mushroom vent was added. The toe rail has been replaced with synthetic teak and therefore, no maintenance. The teak hand rails may need attention. There is a teak cockpit grate, that does not show in the photos. The bottom was soda blasted and a tar based epoxy was applied about 7 years ago. A new teak and holly cabin sole was installed at this time. She has an electric start outboard motor. The mainsail is 3 years old and was used for one season, probably ten times, it cost $1300 and was made by Hood Sails in RI (There are receipts). The genoa was reconditioned when the roller furling was purchased 4 seasons ago. It is about 10 years old but used lightly. Genoa was refurbished by an outfit in PA. The working jib is of the same vintage and hanks on; storm jib never used. She is in excellent condition overall and will most likely not be on the market very long. She is on her own trailer that was also built by Nye Yachts and was repainted in 2013. She can roll down the highway today! New tires and wheel bearings were added. 1967 Whitby Alberg 37, Hull #18 of this Classic Ocean Cruiser. I have owned the boat for almost 20 years and it is now time to find her a new home. It has been well maintained and is sailed regularly. All equipment is functional and for someone who wants a sturdy, sound sailboat, she is well priced to sell. Now based on Marco Island, Florida, she has cruised the Northeast, Canada and the Caribbean. Isuzu MD3 engine with ZF transmission. Lube oil change pump. Wheel steering is Whitlock rack & pinion (no quadrants or cables!) with integral drive for the Autohelm autopilot from Raymarine. Electronics are Raymarine radar and GPS., wind, depth, boat speed, etc. Marine VHF, FM stereo CD player, Ipod connection linked to internal and cockpit speakers. High output alternator, with Balmar regulator, Link 20 battery monitor for house and start battery banks., Xantrex Freedom 10 charger/inverter.Stove in good condition with twin propane tanks located under cockpit seat. Head was replaced 2 yrs ago and has a holding tank with macerator pump and can be emptied via pump-out or offshore. Anchor rode is 20 ft. chain and 150 ft. of 3/4 line served by a windlass. 35lb CQR on bow roller and Danforth type secondary.Three fresh water tanks (65 gal) including cockpit shower. Two diesel fuel tanks (40 gals.) with transfer pump. Hatches are Lewmar. Large inventory of sails including 140 genoa on roller furler, inner forestay for clip-ons for #2, storm sails, etc., fully battened main, running and reaching spinnakers, latter with sock for easy setting/dowsing. All lines except reefing are led back to the cockpit with clutches and self-tailing Andersen winches. Main winches are original Barlow self-tailers with non-self-tailing secondaries.
