Electronics include a Garmin GPS, Raytheon radar, and Raymarine Dragonfly fishfinder. Currently in heated storage so engines, etc., could not be run, however, owner claims engines run strong. The generator needs a head gasket, easy fix. Stock #334118 Iconic American Marine Laguna 11.5 Meter. Ready for the next adventure. An iconic American Marine Laguna 11.5 Meter. American Marine manufactured the Laguna sport fisherman in 1972 and 1973 along with the Grand Banks line of trawlers. The Laguna was manufactured in 2 sizes; 10M (100 made) and 11.5M (71 made). The 11.5M has a 14.5' beam and weight approx 22k lbs dry. The company later became Grand Banks. The boat has turbocharged twin Caterpillar 3208s that produce 300 HP each. It is incredibly well balanced with the engines amidship and fuel tanks (approx 300 gals total) outboard of the engines. Batteries (2 8D's) are just forward of the engine room. The interior is done in a spectacular teak that is unavailable on today's boats. There are 2 marine air air conditioners, a stand-up shower, 2 cabins. To port, there are 2 bunks and forward is a V berth. Electronics include a Garmin GPS, Raytheon radar, and Raymarine Dragonfly fishfinder. There are upper and lower helm stations with hydraulic steering. This is a very comfortable boat; the owner has owned it for over 15 years. There is a Lowrance windlass, Onan generator (needs a head gasket), microwave, cooktop, and everything needed to liveaboard or cruise. Oil and filter changes and fuel filter changes have been done regularly, and the engines have less than 2000 hours. The boat has been stored inside a heated building by the current owner for 15 years and the previous owner for 7 years. It is not a fast boat, but very heavy and comfortable. Swim platform with transom steps and a waist-high transom rail for safety while fishing from the spacious aft cockpit, aft deck with live bait tank and ice hold for the catch. Small drawers and storage for fishing gear, stainless and teak ladder to covered flybridge helm and access to lazarette and storage space below the aft deck. A sliding door to the main salon with a convertible single berth, a small functional galley to port side with lower helm to starboard. The centerline companionway leads down to a spacious head with a separate shower stall on the starboard side, a midship stateroom with lower double and upper twin, vanity and storage on the port side. Ahead to hanging lockers on starboard then forward to vee berth.

2017 American Marine blackwood The Blackwood hull design is precisely produced utilizing the Blackwood exclusive HPI double hull foam core injected process. The Blackwood HPI process incorporates a structurally sound outer hull chemically bonded to a matching full length, complete inner hull. The process is continued with high strength, water proof, closed cell, structural floatation foam core injected under pressure between the two hulls. The outer hull is structurally sound without the addition of the inner hull. The 100% All composite outer hull is hand laminated utilizing fine finish exterior fiberglass matt, high strength structural biaxial fiberglass fabric, composite core material and a layer of Dupont Kevlar® over the entire bottom for extreme strength and puncture resistance. The outer hull is structurally reinforced with hand laminated full-length composite stringers and keel. The high-density composite transom is reinforced with hand laminated composite knee braces. The totally sealed and filled double hull structure eliminates the possibility of water intrusion into the hull. One of the most important benefits of the advanced HPI technology is undoubtedly the extreme safety factor built into every boat. The benefits of the HPI process are further enhanced through the use of the ShearWater exclusive process of chemically bonding the deck to the double hull creating a solid unitized one-piece structure. The Blackwood proprietary HPI unitized construction¿ method is initially very expensive to put into production. The inner hull is complex and time consuming to create. The inner hull mold and the outer hull mold have to be exceptionally strong to withstand the high internal pressure created during the foam injection process. The HPI process requires additional manufacturing space, additional steps in the process, and demands that the deck and the hull remain in their molds much longer than the typical construction methods. The additional time in the mold has the benefit of allowing the exterior gelcoat and fiberglass laminate the necessary time to thoroughly cure. The additional curing time is one of the most important factors that contribute to the Blackwood exclusive, exceptionally straight, brilliant, exterior gelcoat finish. This Blackwood exclusive technology creates a strong, durable, flex-free, unitized structure that cuts through waves silently and smoothly to deliver a comfortable and confident true sense of security. The unitized HPI process reinforced with Dupont Kevlar® produces products with such consistently high strength and durability that costly warranty repairs are virtually eliminated. Based upon fifteen years of trouble free experience with the HPI process, Blackwood Boats, LLC. offers a limited lifetime hull warranty with total confidence.

This DeFever designed, Pilot House trawler, is in absolutely pristine condition. Built in 1970 by American Marine (Grand Banks).. It has been fully refurbished, completely upgraded and superbly maintained.... It is presently kept under cover. (Covered moorage is available with this boat). Only a handful of these lovely Alaskans 46's remain. Of those that do, few are in such fine condition as this one. And even fewer are so well equipped. In the end, perhaps none has been refurbished so completely, with such attention to detail and with no expenses spared. It would be impossible to replicate this lovely yacht today. Craftsmen capable of building such a trawler would be hard to find and too expensive. Simply restoring this boat to her original condition has cost more than twice the asking price here. If you've ever wanted a wooden trawler by a great designer, built in an outstanding shipyard, in better than new condition.... 1967 American 58.5, This amazing boat is a year round live aboard with all the comforts of home. Originally started as a 1967 galvanized steel hull, heavily cross sectioned and gunneled, it was refitted with a new aluminum super structure in 1997. It has two retrofitted CAT 320 turbo diesels and a 15k kohler/washitaw diesel generator set. This boat also has a diesel furnace with ducted heat and central air. She has dual steering stations as well as dual radar, radio, and sonar. Built for all four seasons with great insulation and thermal paned windows, and wood burning fireplace. The boat has a washer and dryer as well as a galley kitchen with built-in electric stove. Its equipped with a custom MSD inboard sanitation system which is approved by all federal, and most state environmental agencies to discharge legally. She sleeps six comfortably. Has 50amp shore power. The last survey was in 2006, where a fully accredited marine surveyor assigned the replacement cost at over $300,000. This boat has been as far south as Mobile, AL! She needs some TLC to make her perfect again and will make someone an excellent 'live aboard' or vacation boat. Registration is current and she's ready to sail! Currently located at the Ohio River Launch Club in Cincinnati. $37000

1973 American Marine / Grand Banks Laguna 10M Built by American Marine, who are famous for their Grand Banks trawlers, the Laguna 10M is a sport cruiser with a cockpit large enough for fishing, and a versatile interior layout that can take a family in comfort.  The construction is up to Grand Banks' usual high standards, and the golden Burmese teak interior is warm and welcoming. This boat is still in the hands of its original owner, who has made many upgrades over the years, with perhaps the most important being the replacement of the original engines with a pair of 300HP Cummins 6BTA turbo diesels.  The hull was stripped, given an expoxy barrier coat, and then redone in a high-gloss powder blue LP enamel that contrasts nicely with the high-gloss white on the superstructure, so this vessel has plenty of life left in it.   The owner has kept records of all the work done, along with surveys that have been conducted over the years, so the history is well documented. Now he has bought a larger vessel, so this one must be passed on to a new home.   Call now to arrange a viewing!
