1969 Chris Craft Constellation The Chris Craft Constellation Flybridge Sport Fisherman 37, Whatever, is a great weekend live aboard or a family day boat. The topsides of the hull have been stripped and painted and the transom and toe rails have been refinished. The swim platform is all mahogany. The twin Ford Chris Craft 300 hp motors have been gone through at 1240 hours. There is an Onan on board generator. Down below the boat is like going back to the 1960’s layouts. The toilet has been replaced with a new flush unit. The refrigeration is also new. This is a great vintage Chris Craft 37 Constellation. Whatever is in inside cold storage where every wood boat should be in the winter. She appears to be structurally sound and only needs minor work on the bottom. Check her out today!

This is a 1967 Chris Craft Constellation 30 feet long 10 feet 8 inches wide. Weight is 8,920 dry. This boat has 2 Chevrolet 350 gas motors that were installed in August of 2009. The port motor starts and runs fine, the starboard motor would not fire this spring. We used the boat last year as a private boat for personal use as well as a public vessel with New York State certification for 8 passengers including a crew of two. We did cruises on Keuka Lake for hire at a cost of $300 per 3 hour trip for up to 4 guests. We included beverages and heavy orderves. The boat could do this again or be used for private use.The boat sustained damage while in dry storage for last winter and will float but pumps will constantly run. The keel has a 2 foot section that cracked from improper blocking and there are two small push ins from the Jack stands near the bow. The interior is in excellent condition, all pumps, toilet, sinks and electrical work. This boat has $4,800 in motors new in 2009, and can be parted out for thousands more. We would rather see someone repair it and use it as it should be. We do not have the time or energy to do it, Do You?It is located in Hammondsport, New York 3 miles from Keuka Lake. It does not have a trailer and will require a trailer or flatbed to be transported. We had it in the water in May of this year and did not feel comfortable leaving it in the water due to the water flow in the keel. It is a double hull solid boat, but needs work to be whole again. I have more pictures if you are seriously interested contact me to see the boat.I have a 2 inch thick binder that dates back 3 owners including the original sales brochure and 1967 price schedule. This boat sold for $15,890 in 1967.That makes the price of $2,500 a bargain. Call 813-503-9460 with questions about this classic.

This boat is located in the Finger Lakes in New York State. The address is 59 Shethar St. Hammondsport, NY 14840. I have several more pictures and can answer any questions by my cell phone which is a Tampa number. I moved to New York from Tampa 3 years ago and still have my Tampa Cell phone number. Please feel free to call with questions. This has always been a fresh water boat. This is a 1967 Chris Craft constellation cabin cruiser. It is 30 feet long all wood inside and out. It has two Chevrolet v-8 350 motors gas powered. It has room to sleep 4 comfortably and you can squeeze in 6 if you fold down the dinette. The motors were both replaced 5 years ago with brand new Chevrolet 350 blocks at a cost of $2400 each I have all receipts. The manifolds and all exterior motor parts from the 1967 motors were re-installed. This boat has been in the water on Keuka Lake for the past several seasons. We put it in the water after being out on land for the winter and redid the bottom with new paint. It was taking on water as any old wooden boat will after being out of the water. We let it soak for 24 hours and it went from pumps running full power to just the front pump coming on every 30 seconds for a couple seconds at a time.Bottom line we decided to pull it back out. My dad is 70 years old and I recently took over a small business working 7 days a week. We do not have the time or energy that this old girl requires. She has her problems. The keel has a 2 foot soft spot and will eventually need repair. The starboard engine need some work to get it running, we had it running last year, but she stopped cranking, will roll over but not start. We replaced many things but never found the cause, we think it is timing but do not know how to fix it. We can get it to run for a second or two with starter fluid but then she stalls out. The boat is sitting on blocks. When we blocked it up Sunday there was a spot near the bow that pushed in about 1/2 inch at about a 4 by 6 inch section. This will require fixing before being launched. The interior was all reupholstered last year and the bathroom sinks and all functions of the boat work. She takes two batteries and trickel chargers. She has a Jensen CD player stereo and we have other options if so desired for an additional price. We used the boat for pleasure and cruises on the lake for hire. We had the boat state inspected and approved for up to 6 passengers and two crew to do cruises. We did three hour cruises for $300 for up to 4 guests and it was $50 for 1 or $100 for two more. This included non alcohol drinks and light food.We did 6 trips last year without trying very hard to book them, we already have a reservation for this year in June that I will have to cancel. If so desired to run the boat as a Public Vessel you could purchase the required automatic fire extinguisher for the engine room, the coast guard approved life jackets, and the four deck chairs that we have. We can discuss price if you have interest. This boat is currently being stored out of the water in Hammondsport New York. It is blocked and you would need a trailer to move it. We had the boat in a local marina on keuka lake and have given up our slip, this means you would need to find a way to move it, launch it, and dock it.The total weight is 4.5 tons or 8920 lbs. I have the original 1967 Chris Craft brochure with all of the specs and will be happy to talk yo you if you have interest.I can arrange a time to show the boat with a phone call or email to set it up. 813-503-9460 or email [email protected]
