1984 Chris-Craft 410 Commander, DRASTIC PRICE REDUCTION on this beautiful cruiser / motoryacht makes this is a fantastic deal on a truly great boat. Owners are changing their boating area from Michigan to Florida and won't buy there until this boat is sold and that is the only thing that makes this opportunity available. ChrisCraft built this classic design from 1973 to 1987 and this year, 1984, started the last design upgrade for this model. Design changes ranged from a redesigned and enlarged flying bridge with much better site lines and a redesigned hull with wider chines for greater stability to smaller items such as Windows in the transom which provide more light and views for the queen bed equipped aft stateroom (these windows are an easy visual way to distinguish it from earlier models). These boats are known for their bulletproof construction and have very beefy fiberglass stringers, not wood. This boat can be a very Roomy and comfortable two state room air-conditioned summer cottage or a great cruiser that is easy to run single-handed, in close quarters or bad weather, from the flush deck pilothouse or in more open water, enjoy the spectacular views from the flying bridge. For you cruisers, it even has Naiad stabilizers.I have owned this ChrisCraft for over 10 years and it is truly a great boat. If you are looking for anything even close to this I suggest you take a look. I doubt that you'll see another deal like this again. Also I have a very high confidence in this boat and could deliver it anywhere in the Great Lakes (beyond?).Finally, I can provide slippage in the Grand Haven/Spring lake area for very reasonable cost for a buyer from that area. $40000

FOR AUCTION WE HAVE A CLEAN 1969 CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER 42 . THERE WERE ONLY 191 OF THESE COMMANDERS MADE BETWEEN 1968 AND 1971 , THESE COMMANDERS MAKE EXCELLENT LIVE-ABOARDS HAVING 2 PRIVATE CABINS , ONE UP FORWARD AND ONE AFT BOTH WITH THEIR OWN HEAD/BATHROOMS . THIS CHRIS CRAFT SHOWS VERY WELL AND WHEN YOU WALK UP TO THE BOAT AT THE DOCK YOU WOULD THINK SHE IS A FAR NEWER BOAT OR THAT SHE HAS UNDERGONE AN EXPENSIVE RESTORATION ! THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT SHE HAS ORIGINAL GELCOAT ON HER HULL AND THAT LOOKS FANTASTIC FOR HER AGE , BELOW THE WATERLINE THE HULL IS CLEAN WITH NO BLISTERS , SHE WAS LAUNCHED 2 MONTHS AGO HAVING SPENT A FEW YEARS BEING DRY STORED ON LAND . THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT CONDITION , IT HAS BEEN UPDATED AND FINISHED OFF WITH TEAK TRIM WHICH GIVES HER A VERY OPEN AND FRESH FEELING . THE GALLEY IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR A BOAT OF THIS SIZE AND IS WELL LAID OUT TO ALLOW YOU TO ENTERTAIN AND STILL HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH YOUR FRIENDS IN THE SALON . THE AFT CABIN IS BRIGHT AND BREEZY , THEIR ARE NEW LIGHTS INSTALLED . THE ENGINE ROOM IS HUGE WITH PLENTY OF SPACE AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE ONE PICTURE , "HAPPY OURS" WAS REPOWERED IN THE 90'S WITH TWIN CUMMINS 6BT 'S WHICH ARE GREAT ENGINES AND FOR THOSE THAT ARE NOT THAT FAMILIAR WITH THEM THEY ARE COMMONLY USED IN BUSES THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY THE MARINE VERSIONS BEING 6 CYLINDER TURBO CHARGED DIESELS . I DID HAVE A MECHANIC COME DOWN AND GET BOTH ENGINES RUNNING AND CAN SEND YOU A VIDEO AS I MADE A SHORT VIDEO TO SHOW BOTH ENGINES RUNNING . HE DID HAVE SOME COMMENTS FOR ME , BASICALLY IN A NUT SHELL THE ENGINES BOTH HAVE GOOD COMPRESSION , THE FUEL TANKS SHOULD BE CLEANED OR AT LEAST REFILLED WITH FRESH FUEL . OTHER THAN THAT , I HAVE NOT CHECKED THROUGH ALL THE SYSTEMS CAREFULLY , I DID HAVE AN INSURANCE SURVEY DONE I THINK AROUND 2 YEARS AGO AND SHE WAS VALUED AT $38500 AS IS AND THAT WAS BEFORE WE ADDRESSED A LOT OF THINGS THEY HAD ASKED US TO ADDRESS LIKE BATTERY CLAMPS , CHANGING SOME HOSES ETC . I HAVE ASKED THE SURVEYOR TO COME BACK AND CHECK OVER THE BOAT AGAIN WHICH HE IS GOING TO TRY TO DO THIS WEEK FOR ME AS IT HAS BEEN IMPROVED IN MANY ASPECTS SINCE ITS ORIGINAL SURVEY . THINGS THAT I KNOW NEED TO BE LOOKED AT WOULD BE THE WATER SYSTEM , WE HAVE NEVER ADDRESSED IT SINCE BUYING THE BOAT , WE HAVE HOWEVER REPLACED THE HOT WATER HEATER WITH A NEW S/S UNIT . THE PICTURES YOU SEE IN THE LISTING WERE TAKEN BY MYSELF WITHIN THE LAST WEEK , I DO HAVE PICTURES OF THE BOAT OUT THE WATER AS THEY WERE TAKEN A FEW MONTHS AGO AND CAN FORWARD THEM TO ANY SERIOUS POTENTIAL BUYERS . SHE IS CURRENTLY IN THE WATER IN EDGEWATER MARYLAND , AND CAN REMAIN THERE UNTIL THE NEW OWNER IS ABLE TO COLLECT OR HAVE HER TRANSPORTED AT A COST OF $300 PER MONTH . THERE IS A MARINA ACROSS THE RIVER THAT HAS A TRAVELIFT CAPABLE OF LOADING ON A TRUCK . IF YOU LOOK AT YACHTWORLD YOU WILL SEE AROUND 10 OF THESE COMMANDERS FOR SALE OF A SIMILAR VINTAGE , LAST YEAR THERE WERE 18 WITH 3 DIESELS AVAILABLE THIS YEAR THERE IS NOT ONE DIESEL BOAT AVAILABLE THEY WERE ALL SOLD AND THIS COMMANDER HAS NEWER DIESELS NOT THE OLD DETROITS . YOU WILL SEE THE PRICE ANYWHERE BETWEEN $25K ALL THE WAY TO 70K WITH THE 70K BOAT CURRENTLY UNDER CONTRACT AS IT HAS BEEN RESTORED , THE 25K BOATS APPEAR TO BE WELL USED NEEDING SOME WORK AND THE AVERAGE PRICE FOR A CLEAN COMMANDER IS AROUND $50K WE HAVE PRICED HER BETWEEN THE LOW END AND HIGH END AS WE WOULD LIKE TO GET HER SOLD SOONER THAN LATER SO WE ARE NOT SHOORING FOR THE MOON AS THEY SAY WE ARE REALISTIC . WE WILL CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADES DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU MAY HAVE AND IF WE CAN AGREE ON A VALUE BEFORE HAND PERHAPS A CLASSIC CAR OR A NEW MERCEDES :-) WHO KNOWS , LETS ESTABLISH A VALUE UP FRONT , THAT SAID CASH IS KING AND THAT WOULD OBVIOUSLY BE OUR FIRST CHOICE . LASTLY I AM SORRY TO HAVE TO ADD THIS BUT THIS IS NOT A GAME PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE FUNDS TO MAKE THE FINAL PAYMENT , WE ARE A SMALL FAMILY OPERATION AND RELY ON ACTUALLY GETTING PAID IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD , THAT SAID I AM NOT DESPERATE TO SELL SO I WONT BE ENTERTAINING ANY LOW BALL OFFERS , IF IT DOES NOT SELL WE WILL USE IT OURSELVES FOR A WHILE . IF YOU NEED TO ASK YOU RABBI , PRIEST , WIFE , GIRLFRIEND , GURU OR WHOEVER PLEASE DO SO AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THEIR BLESSINGS BEFORE BIDDING THANK YOU ! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT OR CALL , IF I DO NOT ANSWER I WILL TRY TO CALL BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . THANKS MATT 410 533 6946

FOR AUCTION WE HAVE A 1979 CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER 41. SHE WAS LIENED FOR NON PAYMENT OF STORAGE AND AS SUCH WE HAVE PRICED HER AGGRESIVELY TO SELL QUICKLY AT LITERALLY 50% OF OTHER SIMILAR BOATS ON YACHTWORLD . RETAIL PRICES RANGE BETWEEN $40,000 AND $60,000.THE CHEAPEST BOAT ON YACHTWORLD CURRENTLY ( 01/26/17 ) IS $35,000 AND IS A LOT MORE DATED IN APPEARANCE DOWN BELOW . OVERALL I WOULD SAY SHE SHOWS WELL AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION , THERE ARE NO BLISTERS BELOW THE WATERLINE AND SHE WAS LAST OUT THE WATER APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS AGO . ABOVE THE WATERLINE THE HULL IS CLEAN WITH ORIGINAL GELCOAT AND NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF PREVIOUS DAMAGE . UP ON DECK SHE IS SOLID UNDERFOOT AND WE DID NOT FIND ANY SOFT SPOTS WHEN WALKING AROUND . UP ON THE FLYBRIDGE EVERYTHING APPEARS NORMAL AND IS CLEAN AND IN DECENT CONDITION . AS YOU ENTER THE CABIN TO WALK DOWN INTO THE SALON AREA YOU WILL NOTICE THE FLOORING HAS BEEN REPLACED AND LOOKS GOOD , ONE OF THE MOST NOTICEABLE THINGS WE FOUND WAS THAT THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF WATER INTRUSION THROUGH THE WINDOWS !A LOT OF OLDER BOATS TEND TO SUFFER FROM THIS PROBLEM . IT IS DRY AND THE WOOD AROUND THE WINDOWS IS IN GOOD CONDITON . THE GALLEY AREA IS OPEN PLAN TO THE SALON AREA AND OVERALL IS CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITION , I WOULD CONSIDER BUYING A NEWER REFRIDGERATOR AS THE EXISTING IS SHOWING ITS AGE , AFTER SAYING THAT YOU COULD STILL EASILY CONTINUE USING THE ORIGINAL ONE WHICH WORKS WELL . THIS MODEL HAS THE DESIREABLE QUEEN ISLAND BERTH IN THE AFT MASTER CABIN , WITH THIS YOU ARE EASILY ABLE TO WALK AROUND THE BED . THERE IS A LOT OF CUPBOARD AND CLOSET SPACE IN THE AFT MASTER AND SHE WAS ACTUALLY BEING USED AS A LIVEABOARD PREVIOUSLY . THERE IS A EN-SUITE BATHROOM WITH STAND UP SHOWER AND HEAD / TOILET . FORWARD IS THE SECOND CABIN WHICH ALSO HAS ITS OWN HEAD/ BATHROOM WITH SHOWER AND HAS A V BERTH CONFIGURATION . ALTHOUGH NOT PICTURED WE DO HAVE THE 2 FORWARD V BERTH CUSHIONS . DOWN BELOW ARE THE POWER PLANTS WHICH ARE TWIN FRESH WATER COOLED CRUSADER 454 ENGINES , I BELIEVE THEY HAVE AROUND 1500 HOURS ON EACH BUT WILL RECONFIRM EXACTLY FOR YOU .THE ENGINE ROOM SHOWS WELL AND IS CLEAN AND TIDY IN MY OPINION BOTH ENGINES START AND RUN ALTHOUGH WE RAN THEM BRIEFLY DUE TO THE FACT WE DO NOT KNOW THE CONDITION OF THE FUEL WHICH DOES SMELL OLD .I WOULD EXPECT TO SERVICE BOTH ENGINES MEANING I PERSONALLY WOULD DO AN OIL CHANGE , FILTERS ,PLUGS , WATER IMPELLARS ETC AND I WOULD HAVE THE FUEL POLISHED OR JUST HAVE THE TANKS PUMPED DRY TO BE SAFE .FRANKLY YOU COULD DO NOTHING AS WELL BUT I LIKE TO KNOW THAT EVERYTHING IS IN TIP TOP CONDITION BEFORE I LIKE TO GO ANYWHERE .IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO THESE THINGS YOURSELF AND WANT TO HAVE THEM DONE I CAN HELP IN GETTING A LOCAL MECHANIC TO DO THE SERVICE FOR YOU AT YOUR EXPENSE THERE IS A CLEAN GENERATOR AS PICTURED AND NEWER AC UNITS . I DID PURCHASE 2 NEW BATTERIES TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS GOOD 12V POWER ON THE BOAT AND TO KNOW THAT THE BILGE PUMPS WOULD BE OPERABLE IF NEEDED . PLEASE FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL OR CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS , WE MAY CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADES ALTHOUGH WE WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS WITH YOU BEFORE BIDDING AND PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED IF WE DO NOT WANT TO TAKE A TRADE .AS AN EXAMPLE YOUR PRIZED CUTLASS CIERA MAY BE A CLASSIC TO YOU BUT TO US WE MAY VIEW IT AS RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION . PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE FUNDS IN PLACE TO PAY FOR HER ,I AM SORRY TO HAVE TO SPELL THIS OUT BUT YOU WILL BE AMAZED HOW MANY PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN OR WANT TO BUY A BOAT AND EITHER DONT ACTUALLY HAVE THE MONEY OR HAVE NOT CHECKED WITH THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHER , PRIEST ,RABBI GURU OR WHOMEVER . WE RELY ON ACTUALLY GETTING PAID IN ORDER TO SELL THESE BOATS QUICKLY AND CHEAPLY , FEEL FREE TO CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS , IF I DONT ANSWER I WILL CALL BACK . WE HAVE A CLEAR MARYLAND TITLE IN OUR NAME , STORAGE IS INCLUDED THROUGH MARCH 1 AFTER THAT IT CAN REMAIN AT $300 PER MONTH ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS . THANKS MATT 410 533 6946
