The boat is in very good condition. The seller is said to rarely use the boat since it was re-done (New engine and fiberglass work). The boat has very little and barely noticeable gel coat imperfections and appear to be cosmetic only. There are no noticeable gel coat or spider cracks observed. The bottom paint appeared to be in very good condition. The motor and lower unit really looks spotless. Inside of the engine there are no signs of rust or oxidation. Everything appears to be in good condition. The propeller has no noticeable imperfections. The trim tabs, Engine tilt and trim and all other electronics were observably working. The motor is equipped with a Hydrofoil stabilizer for maximum performance. Stock #222073 Excellent Condition. ideal for shallows and fishing with plenty of room for other activities. Reproduction Willy Roberts. The 1983 Willy-Roberts Skiff Project dream boat is built with the bones of the Florida Keys 1960s flats boats era in mind. Fishing in the historic back country of The Florida Keys was never complete without a Willy Roberts Skiff Boat. Willy Roberts boats are known for having lots of wood trim and accents and some are completely decked out in it. Modern touches to this boat however, include hydraulic steering, GPS, Lenco Trim Tabs, and a 70-HP Yamaha engine, and off-course coats of gel coat in the exterior for maximum protection from the saltwater elements. YAMAHA's newly released F70 four-stroke marks a further continuation in the evolution of light, powerful and fuel-efficient outboards. The inline four cylinder F70 is said to be an enhancement popular F60. The F70 shares the same displacement (996cc) and is only marginally heavier (10kg) than the F60. There is a significant difference between the F70 and its predecessor the F60. Unlike other 16 valve engines, the F70 operates via by a single, not dual, overhead camshaft. This gives it a weight advantage over its competitors in the 70-75hp class and also increases performance. With this in mind, This Yamaha engine powering this unique and relatively custom boat, creates a top maximum speed of 40 MPH with a cruising speed of 30 MPH and only an average fuel consumption of 4 miles per gallon at its cruise speed. This remarkable machine is uniquely built for the treasures Back Country of the Florida Keys and all of what the Flats fishing has to offer. This is a one of a kind custom made replica or a reproduction of a Willy Roberts Reason for selling is financial reasons.
