1999 Donzi Z 275 LXC The boat is a 29 foot Donzi inboard/outboard with a 7.4l 454 MerCruiser V8, counter-rotating propeller. The boat is in overall excellent condition. It was a one owner boat since 1999 in the Chicago Harbor (prior registration paperwork indicated it was owned by an older gentleman who lived next to Oprah in WaterTower place in Chicago). We purchased the boat in July, 2015 and recently found out that we are moving out west, to the desert, which is the reason for us selling. We've very much enjoyed the boat and it has been an excellent runner. Before we purchased the boat, an engine tune up was done, with a new distributor cap, wires, water pump and pulley. The boat starts on the first crank and has never let us down. 2 weeks ago we cruised from Racine, WI throughout Door County for a week without incident. In addition to the all the factory equipment working perfectly, the boat also has a Kicker Comp 10" subwoofer with a 680 watt amp for listening pleasure. The boat cruises between 25 - 35 mph between 3000 - 3500 rpm. Overall, the boat burns between 12.5 - 22 gallons per hour, depending on speed/rpm. Details about the boat: The boat has a full cockpit enclosure 103 gallon fuel tank 30 gallon fresh water tank 7 gallon hot water tank (works well) All plumbing works well Automatic marine toilet and 30 gallon holding tank All carpet and upholstery in good condition, except for the rear seat, which has a minor hole/tear in a corner. Boat was buffed/detailed in July, 2015 Trim tabs work well Trim on outboard motor works well 454 V8 drives like a champ and will drive the boat in the mid 40's at wide open throttle The GPS / Fish finder is dated, but works fine Boat had new bottom paint in July, 2015 The boat does not have an hour meter (which was strangely an option...) When I inquired with the original owner, apparently he plugged the motor into a machine which can read hours (?) and he recalled the hour meter reading between 300-400 hours. It appears the boat has had minimal use and is in overall excellent condition. We are continually using the boat since the weather is still cooperating! Please email, call, or text with questions, to make an offer, or test drive the boat. The boat does NOT have a trailer. I cannot ship the boat personally, but will be happy to accommodate any shipping arrangements you need. There is a public launch on the opposite side from where the boat is currently docked. The boat is currently in a slip in Racine, Wisconsin, and will continue being used. The boat has always been a fresh water boat.

It's ready to drop in and go....Fresh Tune-Up, Oil Change, Raw water Impeller, and Impeller Housing. 1995 Donzi 255 Medallion with low hours and includes a 2002 American Aluminum Tandem Trailer. Dual Prop for better handling, windlass anchor, Power Trim Tabs, it also has a Garmin 178C GPS chart plotter with depth finder, stereo with CD player, Marine VHF Radio, and Built in battery charger. The Powerboat Guide has this to say: The Donzi Z255 (originally called the 255 Medallion and in 1999 the 255 LXC) is essentially a downsized version of the popular Donzi Z275. She's constructed on a modified-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom and cored hull sides, and a single-piece liner adds a good deal of strength to the hull. Like so many cruisers this size, the Donzi's high freeboard and raised foredeck allows for standing headroom in the cabin at the expense of a rather elevated profile. Her mid-cabin interior sleeps four with a convertible dinette/V-berth forward and another double-berth aft. The compact galley can handle some basic food prep tasks it has sink, microwave, one burner stove, fridge, 6 gal hot water tank, 10 gal cold water tank, and the enclosed head includes a hand shower. Overall, Donzi engineers were able to create a practical and comfortable cruiser in the Z255 that will appeal to budget-minded families of three or four. On deck, a double-wide seat offers good visibility from the stylish helm, and a hatch in the cockpit sole provides good access to the engine compartment. The Volvo 5.8 engine option was available with an average cruise of 20 knots and a top speed of 35 knots and has a 101 gal fuel tank. Very clean!!!
