1968 Soling Endura C2 "Easy" needs a little TLC but she's full of potential!A Soling is a class of open keelboat designed by Jan Linge of Norway in 1965. In 1968, it was chosen from among many other boats to be the men's triple-handed boat for the 1972 Olympics The Soling remained an Olympic boat until its final Olympic appearance at the 2000 Olympics.The Soling is a strong boat designed for any wind and sea conditions and is fun to sail. Fitness, sailing and team skills are basic requirements for good racing. The boats are made of fiberglass reinforced polyester and are one-design boats coming from an authorized single plug and mold, making competition as even as possible. Masts are made of aluminium alloy and the best known brand is Abbott, although Proctor, Børresens Bådebyggeri and other brands might be available in the market.The lifetime of a Soling is long. Those produced in the early days still sail beautifully and some are still in competition (more than 30 years after being built). The average competition life of a Soling boat is considered 15 years making the Soling a perfect cost / benefit boat for racing purposes.This one comes with 2 Spinnakers, 3 Jibs, and 1 Main sail. This boat gave our family hours of joy out on Colorado's lakes. The 16-foot Zeppelin is a heavy-duty inflatable workboat, and can handle up to 6 people. It's made of PVC fabric that has excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking. We recently the transom re-surfaced, (almost $600 value, and this was the first time it had ever been done!) Deflated, it will fold to fit in a wheel barrow, has a 4 piece heavy duty plywood floor, and fits easily into the back of any SUV or Pickup. Double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand. You are bidding on a 14' Bass Tracker boat with trailer. Boat is 14' long approx. 54" wide at the top and 16" deep. It includes aluminum oars, Minn Kota Endura 45lb trust trolling motor that has only been in the water a few times and a new battery. It also comes with a Hummingbird fishfinder 535, includes original box, manual, etc. the transducer is not currently mounted on the boat, but it is included. I had it mounted to a board that I just clamped to the back of the boat when I was using it so I didn't have to drill holes in the boat to mount it. There are two photographs of the unit. One is on the simulation mode (shows fish, etc.), the other is with me moving transducer up and down in a bucket of water. Also included, but not pictured, is a boat cover. I have the title in hand for the boat, I do not have a title for the trailer. No shipping, local pick up only. Item is located in McConnellsburg, PA, we will probable have to change the title over in Chambersburg, Pa due to lack of notaries in my area that handles boat transfers. 1973 14 foot aluminum v hull with newer carpeted decking and paint. Pretty good shape for its age. Needs a new rear light, but front lights work fine. Shift lever on 9.5 motor broke and was improvised (see pic). Tilt & lock bracket on 9.5 motor needs repair/replacement. I have been using the boat as-is for years, it works fine and gets me to the fishing spots. I just wanted to mention a few things you may want to repair. Includes the following: *Trailer with newer rims and tires. *2 swivel seats. *Storage box/bench seat. *9.5 HP Johnson motor with tank, fuel line, and primer bulb. I put a new $100 prop on it, it runs fine, smokes a bit. *Newer Minn Kota Endura 34 trolling motor (hardly used). *Two Marine batteries and an enclosure box. *Humminbird fish finder. *Two life vests, anchor and rope. *Safety paddle. This boat is pretty light weight and will go into shallow waters. Great for fishing rivers and ponds. I had a lot of fun with this boat, now its your turn.
