2000 Glasstream 273 SCX,I am now willing to come down 3,000 dollars and sell this boat at 27,000 to the first person who makes an offer and who puts down a deposit. If you recall I listed it at 29,900. I found my new World Cat. Trim tabs have been added last weekend and the boat runs faster at lower RPMs. Easily cruise at 35 and top end at 44. This is a 27 foot Glasstream 273 SCX boat. It falls in line with Glasstream's version of the Concept, Donzi, Scarab speed, center console fishing or Island hopping boat. It looks good in the water. Sleek. The boat is a 2000 and in very good condition. The first owner of the boat was the owner of Glasstream. I bought it from the second owner who used it mainly to head to the local islands in the Tampa Bay area. The boat comes with a brand new 4,500 dollar T-Top that is powder coated black. All of the rails and pole holders have been powder coated black. Comes with a GPS. 2 Depth Sounders, Fish Finder, an Awesome sound system with 8 very large speakers. Cuddy cabin and more. The trailer is in fanstastic condition and is a 2003. I just spent 8 hours wet sanding and bring back the topside and added a coat of wax. Looks like a brand new boat now. The cushions are all fresh and look good. The two seat cushions just outside the cuddy are cracked. I will replace them if I keep the boat. Two very small cushions. The Helm is in great condition and looks good. Everything is in reach. Boat does come with a complete cover from bow to stern. The Engine is a 2008 Mercury Optimax. Yes it is the newer model with 300 hours on it. No problems with the newer models. I just spent 1,300.00 having the engine completely gone over and changed everything from plugs, to filiters, to oil, to lube, EVERYTHING. It was the 300 hour service and it is now complete. Compression check was just done on the engine and everything came back perfect. This was all done 16 days ago. The Optimax engine is the best I have owned in 30 years of boating. Solid, fast, great on gas. I bought the boat because of the engine. Boat will cruise easy around 34 mph with no strain on the engine. I have not topped her out yet but I have been told mid 40s is expected. When the owner of Glasstream owned this boat it was a twin engine boat. The gentleman who I got it from added this new Optimax back in 2008 and converted it to a single. All of the wiring has been left in place (Out of site) in the event someone ever wanted to add another engine. If you are looking for a great, reliable, and fun boat to take the family out, fish inshore or go offshore this is the boat for you. I am only selling to get a bigger World Cat. Call, Text or email me with any questions or an appointment to see it. 352-585-6354 or [email protected] $27000, 3525856354
