Standard configuration includes an all fiberglass companion door shroud with molded-in navigation chart area and drink holders. The centerline acrylic sliding door features a convenient sliding screen as well. The helm is a ?heads up? fiberglass tilt-away helm station with full flush mount electronics capabilities. There is an oversized helm seat forward with wet bar and aft-facing seat. To the starboard is a spacious curved lounge with storage and cooler. Certification from the NMMA U.S.C.G. and CE (European.) Additional Description The 3800 Open is equipped with either Cummins 6CTA 8.3 or CAT 3208DITA diesel engines. The Cummins provide 450 h.p. per engine and the CAT?s are rated for 435 h.p. per engine. Both engines provide sufficient horsepower to provide a cruise speed above 30 mph. Standard mechanical features include a Teleflex hydraulic steering system with 22" destroyer wheel bronze axe head rudders and struts water cooled shaft logs duel VDO engine instrumentation fresh water cooling Racor fuel filters and more. Additional Description The 3800 Open features a transferable 5 year limited warranty on the hull. It is constructed with a water barrier outer gelcoat layer and handlaid fiberglass with a special formulated resin. The seacocks and all underwater thru-hull fittings are made of bronze and a hullside exhaust system is used.
