I originally purchased the boat to take to Roatan but due to the import duties and taxes they were going to charge I've changed my mind and I'm purchasing something already on the island. It is for that reason and that reason only I am selling this boat substantially below appraised and survey value. I will consider reasonable offers and possibly trades of business and industrial equipment or a larger sport fishing boat with diesel engines that I can run to Roatan across the Gulf of Mexico. The truck and home in the back ground of the photos are mine, I'm lived here for 31 years and I take excellent care of everything we own and this boat is no exception. I only say that because I don't want someone to think that I staged the boat in front of someone else's house as a photo op. In June I took the boat to a local dealer and told him to fix anything he could find regardless of the cost. He looked at me and said are you serious? When I explained I was taking the boat to Roatan and if there was a problem I wanted it fixed before I left and so they tuned up, changed all fluids and even put on new timing belts and timing belt slack adjusters. The total bill from the shop was $6k and I was happy to pay it because I wanted the piece of mind knowing it was ready. I did anything I could think of to get the boat ready to go to Roatan including putting on new hubs, bearings and brakes on both axles. I also had the master cylinder on the surge brakes rebuilt. To my knowledge there are NO PROBLEMS with the boat and in my opinion I believe it would be very difficult to find a nicer boat in this class and age. With that said, being in the business, I also know most folks are of the opinion that talk is cheap, I too am one of those! So instead of taking the risking that someone would think I was trying to oversell the boat I hired a professional Surveyor to inspect the condition and appraise the value of the boat. I don't know the surveyor and he has never done anything for me before. I just went to the SAMs website http://www.marinesurvey.org/ and hired the closest accredited surveyor to my home. You can check it out, my zip code is 78013. The surveyors report is in the pdf above. In that report he called the boat in good to above average condition, he also appraised the value at $42K. I have priced the boat far below that price to sell it quickly. Additionally, just because we power up an asset our folks many not have the expertises to properly operate the machine. Buyers are welcome to come by or send their representative by to test and inspect the asset. Feel free to ask if you have questions. 5. UNKNOWN: There are times when our staff may not have the training or expertise to make a condition statement. In these cases they will simply state the manufactures name, model and photograph the factory tag and show condition as UNKNOWN. We will photograph any apparent missing items or damage. However we might not know when some parts or pieces are missing so it will be the buyers responsibility to insure they know what they are buying. ALL UNKNOWN assets are sold ASIS WITH NO RETURNS WHATSOEVER. 6. BUYERS REMORSE: If you make a mistake just tell us the truth and we will try to help you.
