1990 Mainship Mediterranean This freshwater boat has one of the largest interior layouts in a boat this size, with a flybridge to match. She has the look of the new Euro-style cruisers.This is a unique layout. There is a large open salon, with the galley up, on the starboard side forward. Going down two steps, the head with separate shower stall is to port, and split bunks to starboard. Going forward is the master stateroom, with a queen size island bed.The nice U-shaped galley is on the main level to be able to enjoy the views aft with Sub-Zero separate refrigerator and freezer under the counter. Microwave, two burner stove, lots of counter space and storage.The boat is equipped with a compass, remote spotlight, trim tabs, a windlass with remote control at the bow, and a heavy duty anchor. The walkways aft are wide, and there are steps on both sides to enter the cockpit. There is a transom door with built-in steps, and a large swim-platform. The salon access is via a large sliding door. The bridge access is by molded in steps. The bridge is large, with two helm chairs, and a large L-shaped couch aft. As can be seen by the NADA image showing the value of this boat at over $33,000, this boat is great deal that is priced well below current market value. 1989 Mainship Mediteranean, Great island cruiser, day cruiser, or live aboard boat. Runs great on 2 Crusader 454 inboards that were recently overhauled, which includes many new parts. Steer from the enclosed fly bridge on this easy to pilot cruiser with outriggers. The main salon features large area with dinette, day bed/sofa, and galley which features electric cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of storage. Large windows in the main salon, so everyone can enjoy the beautiful views. The private state room is also spacious and includes a head/bathroom with separate shower. Sleeps up to 6. Entire salt water side of cooling system on both engines replaced last season (raw water pump, heat exchangers and exhaust risers), new electronic ignition systems complete with new distributors, new wires and plugs on both engines. The bottom was painted last season and has been scraped by a diver on a monthly basis. Onan 6.5KW generator with only 660 hours, dual zone A/C, depth finder, fish finder, Clarion marine satellite Sirius radio with Bose speakers, iPod/Phone input, 19" flat screen tv in stateroom, Raymarine GPS tracking sonar, and many more features. I always make an effort to disclose the information I know about the items I sell and this boat is no different. This boat is from 1989 so it is not perfect, but it is also not hundreds of thousands of dollars, like new boats. Re-caulking a small area in the transom by a professional is estimated at $500. It is not something that necessarily needs to be done right away, but it is something the new owner will want to do, at some point. Also, the generator works but needs to be serviced. Cosmetically, the seats in the cockpit would benefit from re-upholstry, but that is merely cosmetic and can be cured with some inexpensive seat covers. As you can see by the NADA price guide pic, this boat sold originally for $116,000 back in 1989, so this is, clearly, a high quality vessel with solid manufacturer workmanship. 1988 Mainship Mediterranean Convertible The Mainship 35 Convertible was produced from 1988 thru 1994 and was built on a solid fiberglass modified V hull. INFATUATION has the original single stateroom lay-out with a comfortable island double berth forward in the master stateroom. The salon area is immense with a convertible dinette that sleeps two and a settee. The aft cockpit has a ladder for access to the fly bridge and transom door for ease of boarding from the swim platform. This boat has several recent upgrades, including a new refrigerator and microwave in the galley. They galley floor has also been recently re-covered. The swim platform on the transom has been completely reworked, and the flybridge has a full canvas enclosure with Isinglass windows that was new in 2014. Entering the boat from the stern, there is a large aft deck. The large main salon is accessed through a tinted sliding glass door. To port is the boat's electrical system and entertainment sytem, as well as a convertible settee and dinette. To starboard are two comfortable captain's chairs and the boat's galley. Forward of the salon is the main cabin and head. The head is to port, and features a sink and separate shower stall with hot and cold pressurized water. There is also an electric marine head. Just forward of the head is the main cabin, which features a very large centerline berth and ample shelving/lockers for storage. The boat is mechanically sound, and the optional 454ci/350hp engines have been recently tuned up and are in good operational order. The 6.5kw Onan generator was also recently serviced. The boat is located on the Isle of Palms, just north of Charleston, SC. Her slip is a short ride by golf cart from several restaurants, bars and convenience stores, as well as a pristine Atlantic beach. The ICW is also less than a mile away. The slip is available for rent for the boat's new owners, and a nice electric golf cart will convey with the boat at no extra charge. This boat and slip location offer an excellent platform for weekend getaways or for Air B&B opportunities.
