This President 37 is nicely equipped and will need some repairs. The engines and generator have been reliable, the owner confirms. The Simrad unit and VHF are working well. The other electronics are older and will need to be removed or replaced. The bottom was last cleaned in December of 2023 and the ablative bottom paint was doing its job. Decks were generally in good shape on picture day, one soft spot was noted on the starboard side of the aft deck. Remnants of water seepage were evident on the aft cabin starboard side wall and on the dinette wall. The walls in these areas are damp after recent rains. The forward bilge pump was not functioning. Deferred maintenance items are evident in the photos (e.g., handrails, fittings, lifelines, gel coat, seating). Don't let this one get away! Call or email with questions, or make an offer to hold the President 37! Stock #321323 Beautiful Aft Cabin Long-Range Cruising Trawler, Center-Line Berth and Diesel Power! There is nothing like a President Yacht. This President 37 is a heavy trawler hull, built in East Asia and sold to discerning yacht buyers around the world. This President has been used in the Northeastern U.S. and in the Gulf of Mexico. The boat is powered by twin Lehman Super 275 diesel engines and has a Westerbeke 4 KW generator onboard to run the ship's systems while on a voyage. The President is a double-cabin version with the Captain's quarters in the aft cabin. A center-line island berth provides comfort and space with its own full head and shower. Beautiful teak drawer storage surrounds the cabin in striking President style. The forward cabin is similarly appointed with storage space. It has a V-berth with a cushioned step-up in the center that doubles as a seat for dressing. A second head with a shower is accessible from the forward cabin or from the galley hallway. The galley is on the forward cabin level and has a full refrigerator/ freezer, stove, oven, sink, counter space and lots of cabinets. A dinette anchors the starboard side of the galley. The table lowers with a turn of a wheel to convert to a double berth. The main salon is currently open with only a small sofa, you can fit it out so it works for you! The lower helm is on the starboard side with full controls, a Garmin GPSmap 180, and a Standard Horizon Eclipse VHF radio. The upper helm is accessed via the molded steps on the aft deck. It also has full controls, a Simrad GPS plotter, a second VHF radio, and a radar screen. Cushioned seating borders the flybridge for an excellent view for guests while underway. The best feature of the double cabin layout is the aft deck. The deck sits above the captain's stateroom and serves as a shaded deck space, or you can close it in to form another protected space. The President has a windlass for the forward anchor and has a second anchor included in the sale.

Full head with stand up shower 4. fresh looking not salty. Unless the previous owner added one there is no factory radar arch. 110 Hino's were the diesel option. Hino is a Japaneses company owned by Toyota. Cockpit Hardtop - Many of the 32xx's in the Pacific North West have a hardtop added to the cockpit. the only issue I have ever had was a clogged fuel filter. From 1985 and on the flybridge helm is in the middle of the panel and there is an L-type seat on the starboard side. Boats Aft Cabin 3441 PSN . Beam 11'6" Water 65/89 gals. the 1998 Kohler 5.0 generator and 2004 reverse cyle marine air were installed in 2004. Large forward deck 8. Sleeps 6 in comfort. These owners then enclose the entire rear cockpit providing a good space in cold weather climates. Anyone with additions or suggestions feel free to post in the Forum tab of this website Bayliner 3270/3288 Motor Yacht Specifications Length Overall 32'1" Clearance 13'10" Length WL 28'10" Fuel 200 gals. Full well appointed galley. In the PNW more than 1/2 of these year boats have 110 Hinos. Large knowledgeable and accessible User Community Many 32xx's came with the Hino Diesel. Generator - There is room in the 32xx engine room to add a generator. the 32xx can be classified as a "Fast Trawler". (Some late production 87's and early 89's are called 3218's) 135 Hino's were the diesel option with the small block 305 GM's (VP or US Marine) as the gas standard. Inside and flybridge helm 5. 1988 3218 Motoryacht. 150 Hino's are the diesel option with US Marine (marinized Chevy 305's) being the standard engine. Below is from bayliner32xx.com the comments below come from my own observations and opinions. One only has to come aboard to see the best designed 32 foot yacht ever built. Designed to do the Great Loop. Diesel boats outnumber gas boats in the PNW for this year. 1998 Kohler 4.5 generator and two air conditioners. the rest of the country seem to have the 305 motors. Radar arch seem to be a factory option on the 85 models. Transom Door - Older 32xx's (91 and before) do not have transom doors. the 32xx hull design features a rounded chine with prop pockets where the props are tucked into. 130 Gallons) 1/2 water. Also the engines are fitted with closed cooling. Some have made modification to the hull (Underhulls) which square up the chine creating less roll and perhaps a little more speed . the gas version is a 15-17 kt cruise boat (3200-3500 rpm) while getting around 0.80 nmpg at that speed. Powered by a pair of great running 4.3 crusaders that are very fuel efficient. Diesel engine option 6. the radar arch was standard on the 86's. Many owners have modified their 32xx and added the door. This means they have trawler like characteristics but faster cruise speeds. 400lb Genny Full flybridge enclosure dingy on swim step mimimum gear. Flybridge Enclosure - Enclosing the bridge is a common 32xx feature. Full galley with propane stove microwave and refrigerator. Maximum speed is around 10 kts and normal cruise is around 8 kts. Three separate sleeping quarters (Forward Berth Salon Berth Aft Cabin Berth) 2. This provides excellent efficiency but the rounded chine creates a little more roll at anchor and a more then normal "Squirrely Ride" in a following sea. Common Options to improve the 33xx motor yacht: 1. 6. Tramson doors are standard in 1992 models and up. Underhulls - Underhulls are a modification of the standard rounded chine found on the 32xx. the flybridge helm is on the starboard side. It's a great addition but a modification best left to a professional. )ne full head with shower. Most boats of this year range came with gas motors (some version of the marinized V-6). There is fresh upholstery every where inside. Interior color schemes with variations of the galley sink thru out the years but overall the same as the 1986's and up. the use of prop pockets removes the need for v-drives and allows the engines to be placed under the cockpit versus the salon like many other vessels of like size. 1981-1984 3270 models were called EXPLORERS. Full head with shower. A complete enclosure can cost up to 5k 3. the ones with Nissan engines are pretty much just trawlers. 1985-86 3270 Motoyacht. the 110 hinos seem to cruise around 10-12 kts. Fuel Economy: the following numbers are what I observe on my 3270 with 135HP Hinos. Most go with something in the 3-5kw range 7. go to www.Bayliner 32xx.com to learn more about this number one selling motor yacht. great looking engines. However many older models have been modified with a transome door by the previous owners. the microwave cabinet above the stove is still missing on the 85's but standard on the 86's and on. with much better fuel economy (around 2 nmpg) but top speed is much less (14 kts ). the underhulls square the hull chine and make the 32xx much less prone to roll and better handling when running in a following sea. Very few Motor yachts have a website dedicated to them. Top speed is around 21-23 kts. Excellent range fuel efficiency and open water capability 11. Mine have been nothing but spectacular; Super fuel efficient reliable and easy to work on. 5. 200 gallons of fuel storage 7. Most of its life has been on Lake Lanier at Bald Ridge Marina. One thing that's interesting is that Bayliner seems to have used the same color scheme for all the Motoryachts of that year (eg. These don't have an extra cabinet above the stove (86's and later have a built in microwave). the air conditioner is so cooled the lens on the camera fogged up. This is basically an extension of the flybridge to cover the cockpit. Marinized Chevy 305's were the standard engine. Inverter -- Adding an inverter is an excellent way to create 110AC when away from the dock. Very economical to operate. They are practically bullet proof super simple to work on and parts are available at reasonable prices. 1982 Bayliner 3270 Explorer 4.3 twin inboards by Crusader Ready for demonstration Ready for demonstration. 1989-1995 = 3288 Motoryacht. These are for both engines. Large cockpit suitable for fishing 9. 4. the flybridge seating is a little different than the later models. Major features are: 1. Galley Down with excellent storage and features 3. 1986- show contact info and 4550 have the same exterior trim). Do net let it fool you the boat was from Lanier and moved to jax only for a short period of its life and then back. Conditions: 4-5 Knot winds little swell. Hull Extension - Some 32xx's have had a hull extension. Most go with a 3 foot extension. 1985 is kind of a transition year for the Motoryacht. 13.7 - 14 knots at 2500 RPM is the sweat spot for me.Ready for demonstration. the feature provides higher hull speeds expanded storage and handling. Conclusion: They all have the same hull from 1981-1995 but the cabin appointments are different on the EXPLORERS. 2. the owners were transferred to Jacksonville for a short while but returned back to Bald Ridge Marina on Lake Lanier. Sleeps SIX in comfort. the cabinetry is a little different in the galley. 1986 and on are pretty much the same except for power plant options. Draft 2'11" Waste 23 gals. the differences were pretty much in the engine choices available and the cabinetry/ color schemes used. Dual station flybridge. the motor yacht has been very well maintained. Beautiful motor yacht powered by a fresh 4.3 v6 Crusader engines with new manifolds and risers. Optional generator 10.
