Let's start with what kind of auction this is. You can hit the " Buy It Now Option " and own this very nice vessel. You are, however, committing to purchase it if you do. Or, you can make an offer that I can take into consideration. I will consider realistic offers, but not low ball offers, so please do not waste your time or mine. I also do not want to trade for anything else, or take partial trades of any kind. I do not need any more boats, cars, trucks, etc. Please don't ask. This is a very nice 3 owner trawler. Always fresh water and always moored in a covered dock. It only has 900 original hours on the single Ford Lehman 6 cylinder diesel engine. These engines can go 30,000 hours before reconditioning, so it is barely broken in. Gets great gas mileage and has a 1,000 mile range on the 300 gallons of fuel she carries. ( tanks are full right now ) 1985 was the first year of the Marine Trader's cabin to deck redesign. Boats previous to 1985 had teak deck problems that the newer design eliminated. All of the outside teak, and there is a lot of it, is in very solid shape. The interior is loaded with teak also, and it is pristine. All of the cushions have original coverings and they are in great shape. Two private state rooms, with a full head in each. There are depth sounders and marine radios at both driving stations, but, since it has always been in Missouri, there is no ocean going navigational items such as sonar, GPS, radar, etc. Same with a generator and marine A/C. No need for those by us, so it was not ordered with either of them. I did add a new window A/C to use dock side. It does have an electric windlass. This vessel is ready for a trip up or down the Mississippi River, or any other inland connecting river to get her to your area. It is currently located in a marina on the Mississippi River near Alton Illinois. The slip it is in can be taken over by the new owner. This vessel is Documented with the USA. The most used and trusted vessel valuation guide is the BUC books. It has this vessel valued at close to $50,000. I am well below BUC value for a quick sale. Please do not bid on this boat unless you are serious about buying it and have researched a way of getting it to you. I will not deliver it or arrange shipping across land. Call with any questions BEFORE hitting the buy it now or making an offer. I will give honest and complete answers to all questions I can answer. Thanks and have a great day, Dave 314-732-592five.

(Some late production 87's and early 89's are called 3218's) 135 Hino's were the diesel option with the small block 305 GM's (VP or US Marine) as the gas standard. Inside and flybridge helm 5. 1988 3218 Motoryacht. 150 Hino's are the diesel option with US Marine (marinized Chevy 305's) being the standard engine. Below is from bayliner32xx.com the comments below come from my own observations and opinions. One only has to come aboard to see the best designed 32 foot yacht ever built. Designed to do the Great Loop. Diesel boats outnumber gas boats in the PNW for this year. 1998 Kohler 4.5 generator and two air conditioners. the rest of the country seem to have the 305 motors. Radar arch seem to be a factory option on the 85 models. Transom Door - Older 32xx's (91 and before) do not have transom doors. the 32xx hull design features a rounded chine with prop pockets where the props are tucked into. 130 Gallons) 1/2 water. Also the engines are fitted with closed cooling. Some have made modification to the hull (Underhulls) which square up the chine creating less roll and perhaps a little more speed . the gas version is a 15-17 kt cruise boat (3200-3500 rpm) while getting around 0.80 nmpg at that speed. Powered by a pair of great running 4.3 crusaders that are very fuel efficient. Diesel engine option 6. the radar arch was standard on the 86's. Many owners have modified their 32xx and added the door. This means they have trawler like characteristics but faster cruise speeds. 400lb Genny Full flybridge enclosure dingy on swim step mimimum gear. Flybridge Enclosure - Enclosing the bridge is a common 32xx feature. Full galley with propane stove microwave and refrigerator. Maximum speed is around 10 kts and normal cruise is around 8 kts. Three separate sleeping quarters (Forward Berth Salon Berth Aft Cabin Berth) 2. This provides excellent efficiency but the rounded chine creates a little more roll at anchor and a more then normal "Squirrely Ride" in a following sea. Common Options to improve the 33xx motor yacht: 1. 6. Tramson doors are standard in 1992 models and up. Underhulls - Underhulls are a modification of the standard rounded chine found on the 32xx. the flybridge helm is on the starboard side. There is fresh upholstery every where inside. Interior color schemes with variations of the galley sink thru out the years but overall the same as the 1986's and up. the use of prop pockets removes the need for v-drives and allows the engines to be placed under the cockpit versus the salon like many other vessels of like size. 1981-1984 3270 models were called EXPLORERS. However many older models have been modified with a transome door by the previous owners. the microwave cabinet above the stove is still missing on the 85's but standard on the 86's and on. with much better fuel economy (around 2 nmpg) but top speed is much less (14 kts ). the underhulls square the hull chine and make the 32xx much less prone to roll and better handling when running in a following sea. Very few Motor yachts have a website dedicated to them. Top speed is around 21-23 kts. Excellent range fuel efficiency and open water capability 11. Mine have been nothing but spectacular; Super fuel efficient reliable and easy to work on. 5. 200 gallons of fuel storage 7. Most of its life has been on Lake Lanier at Bald Ridge Marina. This is basically an extension of the flybridge to cover the cockpit. Marinized Chevy 305's were the standard engine. Most go with a 3 foot extension. 1985 is kind of a transition year for the Motoryacht. 13.7 - 14 knots at 2500 RPM is the sweat spot for me.Ready for demonstration. the feature provides higher hull speeds expanded storage and handling. Conclusion: They all have the same hull from 1981-1995 but the cabin appointments are different on the EXPLORERS. 2. the owners were transferred to Jacksonville for a short while but returned back to Bald Ridge Marina on Lake Lanier.
