The boat is reported by the owner to be in good condition with all systems working as designed. Numerous recent projects completed including New in 2023 shaft, coupling, stuffing box, cutlass bearing, prop, motor mounts. New in 2021 exhaust riser and hoses, new heat exchanger. The engine has been solid and reliable, the owner confirms. Stock #352078 Exhaust riser, hoses and heat exchange for Universal Diesel replaced. This 1988 Catalina 34 MK1 is a great boat for a couple or small family that is after a sailboat that is easy to sail and manage while coastal cruising. This boat was built in the middle of the 1500-boat production run and benefits from the builder's experience over the prior 3 years of production. These boats have very accommodating interiors and are ideal for a couple sailing with occasional guests or a couple of children. She features a keel-stepped mast and the deep fin keel that provide both safety and performance under sail. Electronics: Xantrex Freedom HFS Interter charger installed 2019, Blue Sea battery switch and starting battery isolator, two deep cycle house batteries and two starting batteries, 2020 Standard Horizon GX1600 Explorer radio, 2020 Sony Stereo with new speakers in cabin and in cockpit, New in 2018 Raymarine electronics. 1994 Catalina 320. This well priced, nice example is located at the Mission Bay Yacht Club. The 320 is a fast comfortable cruiser with lots of room. It is a modern design with a huge swim step, complete with hot/cold shower, and a step-through transom. The cockpit easily seats 10 with elevated aft perch seats. There is a queen size bed in the aft stateroom (with locking door), an ample 2 person v-berth forward with door and removable wall panels, convertible dining table sleeps two, and a berth to port sleeps one more. The galley includes a double sink with water filter, 2-burner stove, and a great working gimbled oven. The fridge is very large with 2 top-loading doors and a freezer which keeps items well frozen. There is a microwave and much storage.The head is to starboard. There is plenty of room to shower and change with large mirror. The toilet is new. There are two fresh water holding tanks, and a waste holding tank with macerator pump. The 2 4D house batteries are brand new, and there are two deep cycle starting batteries.The Clarion stereo is also new with CD player, bluetooth, charging USB cable, capable of playing pandora, flash drives, etc. and includes a remote control operable from the cockpit. Electronics include; main VHF with a remote handheld (works up to 50' away), Garmin GPS/Chartplotter, speed/depth, auto pilot with remote control, and Raymarine radar. All manuals are on board. The invertor/charger is upgraded and newer. The cockpit built-in propane tank has an accessory line for a BBQ. The dodger/ windows are a few years new. The mast can be lowered (tabernacled) to pass under low bridges. (This is about an $8000 upgrade)All lines lead to the cockpit. The jib is roller furled. The main is fully battened and has lazy jacks to keep the it tidy when lowered. There is a colorful asymmetrical spinnaker, and easily deployed pole. The anchor and rode fit nicely in the ample anchor locker. There is a windlass to help with the anchor.The bottom is cleaned regularly. The engine was professionally serviced in July (oil/filter change, tranny oil, both fuel filters and raw water impeller replaced). The diesel engine is strong with just 1263 hours. It cruises under power at about 7 knots and consumes less than a gallon of fuel an hour.We sail every year to Catalina Island (just returned with our family of four, from a two week trip) and thoroughly enjoy the boat, but we have bought a larger boat with partners and are ready to sell.You will find US Coast Guard Documented "El Encanto" proven, well kept, and ready to go. She is docked at Aqualand in a slip paid for til July. This is the finest Catalina 27 on the lake by far, please be a serious buyer when you schedule a time to see her. This is a clean, clean example of the world's most popular cruiser. If you have done your research online you will understand why this boat is so popular. She has been refitted extensively over the past 2 years. The main items are: Brand new Rolly Tasker mainsail, used 4 times. Partial battens with 1 reef point. 50 watt solar panel with charge controller. New KiwiGrip non-skid. Interlux Brightsides on the deck. All the teak redone. All the ugly fake wood laminate recovered. New bilge pump. Solar ventilation fan on the forward hatch. New bimini. New canvass. Beautiful new wood tiller. Winches overhauled. Mast inspected, sheaves lubed, and lights overhauled. This beautiful CATALINA CAPRI 22 foot sailboat is located at a marina in Titusville, Florida. It is sail ready and comes with a 2005 Mercury 4 Hp, 4 Stroke Outboard engine with only 9 hours on the motor. The motor was last started 2 months ago. This vessel sleeps 6 people and has racing rigging. It comes with a mast, boom, spinnaker pole with a brand new "hank on" jib and storm jib. Further sails include Capri 22 Genoa and Capri 22 Main sail along with a spinnaker sail with pole, all in excellent condition. However, the roller furler at the bow is not operating properly at this time and appears to be jammed or stuck, but is presently installed on the boat. There is a small crack on one of the side cabin windows but no leakage. The rudder has some wear on the bottom but is fully functional. The boat comes with a fixed keel with a 4 ft. draft. There are no soft spots or leaks on the boat and the hull is in excellent shape with no bottom painting needed at this time. There is also an EZ Mast Erection System to raise the mast, numerous lines, brand new porta - potti, flares, anchor, life jackets, 50 amp Minn Kota Electric Trolling Motor(not working-needs repair). The boat also comes with an outboard support raising platform for the engine, which works when the engine is in the water, but has trouble in raising the engine out of the water and has some wear on it. A swimming ladder is also attached to the stern of the boat. Overall the boat is in good to excellent condition and is presently in the water with no trailer available. There is also an EZ Mast Erection System to raise the mast, numerous lines, brand new porta - potti, anchor, life jackets, 50 amp Minn Kota Electric Trolling Motor(not working-needs repair). A flush mounted outside compass was removed by the previous owner. The boat also comes with an outboard support raising platform for the 4 HP engine, which works when the engine is in the water, but has trouble in raising the engine out of the water and has some wear on it. However a smaller, lighter engine(2 to 3 HP) seems to work just fine and raises and lowers this lighter engine into the water with ease. A swimming ladder is also attached to the stern of the boat. Overall the boat is in good to excellent condition and is presently in the water with no trailer available. One forward cleat is loose but is still functional. Please keep in mind that my sailing experience is limited and although I have sailed the boat with the jib, I have not raised or sailed the vessel with either the Genoa, Main or Spinnaker sails because of time constraints, but with my limited knowledge all sails appear to be in "excellent condition". 1975 Catalina 22 Pop Top Project Sailboat and Trailer The Catalina 22 is a popular sailboat produced by Catalina Yachts. Its hull measures 21 foot 6 inches (6.55 m), which is rounded up to 22 feet (6.7 m) for use in the model's name. First produced in 1968, it is one of the longest continuously produced sailboats in the world...Over 15000! Parts, videos and know-how are abound on the net 2005 last time previous owner had boat in water. I have never had boat in the water or was able to work on her. 2005 was the last time I was inside the cabin before preparing this listing for ebay. She has been closed up for ten years and is dirty in and out. I sprayed Windex in a few areas inside and dirt just wiped off with no scrubbing. Water, at one time, intruded around the forward hatch. Has complete set of interior cushions in gold plaid pattern. Most are in surprising good condition. NO SMELLS. One has a 1.5x1.5 inch hole in fabric that isn't seen when in place. 1 or 2 have an area of cracking vinyl. In all the noted exceptions, I don't think they would be seen or stop you from sailing PREVIOUS OWNER'S DESCRIPTION: '75 Catalina 22 pop top w/trailer • fair condition - Project boat • Swing Keel • Pop top • Sail Inventory: 2 mains, Jib (Marked San Juan works w/Cat 22s) and 150 Furling I think all are usable • Scupper upgrade in transom • Ablative paint on hull and keel • Never in salt water • Needs good cleaning • I know of no problems with the swing keel • No known leaks around keel pin • Comes with 2 Rudders. Those parts are, of course, stainless steel. • Will also include a sliding galley out of a 1984 Cat 22. It slides under the cockpit starboard seating when not in use. It has a faucet, sink, water fresh water holding tank, a drawer and a place for a small portable propane stove. I was going to sell it separately on ebay. They normally go from 150-200. TRAILER • Trailer in good shape, but could use some paint• Has 10 ft extension• Has surge brake system used for two trips since it was installed• Has Buddy Bearings• New load range 'C' tires were put on in Spring of 2010. 63 Miles total mileage as boat was towed from one of our rental homes to our house in Martinsville. No cracks or aging seen.• Extra duty bunks BTW: Good used trailers for sailboats are hard to come by. Have clear titles for boat and trailer. SHANNON has the desirable shoal / wing keel, blue hullsides, traditional rigging, and has lower hours showing than any other that I could find on the market! I am told that the previous owner passed away last winter. The bank holding the mortgage subsequently foreclosed upon SHANNON and she is now available for an incredible buying opportunity! Please view the 200+ photos of this 387 Catalina to see just how much this one shines! SHANNON is powered by a 40hp Yanmar diesel engine. The hour meter on the tachometer reads just 334 hours on it. This Catalina has two staterooms, a fully enclosed head & shower, plus a large main salon. She is hull number 62 from the factory. My observations include: The flag blue paint exhibits tremendous shine The sails, covers, and rigging lines appear to be in good, if not excellent, condition The stainless rails all appear to be in good condition and exhibit great shine The cabin appears to have been lightly used She has the optional air conditioning for the master stateroom (see note below) Her bow dodger and associated canvas appear to be in serviceable (if not good) condition Her engine appears relatively clean in appearance She has a newer LCD television in the salon with DVD player Her manuals are present She has the desirable WING KEEL/ SHOAL DRAFT (4’10”) She has brand new 4D batteries that were installed in October (2016). Based on looking at SHANNON and moving her to her current slip, I noticed the following imperfections/ items that may need attention: The board on air conditioning unit appears to need replacement. The A/C initially powered up for me on October 21st and blew cold air, however, the breaker tripped about 10 minutes after running. Power was checked and is good going into the board; however, it appears that the board shorted. This is relatively common for A/C units as we had a board failure two weeks ago on one of our vessels in Florida. (We had a board replaced for $600 last month in Florida.) There is area of paint on the starboard side that shows imperfections if seen up close. Upon closer inspection from various angles, I could see that there was a prior repair in that area that goes above the waterline to the cap and runs forward from mid-ship to the bow area. I am guessing that the surface in that spot was not prepped well enough for the paint. See photo.There are some spots on the interior wood walls where the stain has lightened. (The most noticeable areas are directly behind the shelf adjacent to the sofas. If SHANNON were my personal vessel, I would let the areas be and not bother re-staining/ refinishing.) The map table has discoloration in the wood. (I would plan to refinish this, if SHANNON were my personal boat.) While I consider the interior and exterior to be relatively clean in appearance, the next owner may desire to spend some hours (or hiring a detailer) to go through each hatch / surface / cubby hole to greater clean the appearance to his or her liking. The macerator pump appears to need replacement as its breaker trips immediately. I moved this boat on October 21st on Back Creek in Annapolis, Maryland. She started right up and ran great while underway. There are sails in the AFT stateroom. Please see the photos. To me, each looks to be in good condition. Note that my observation is solely based on what I can visually see of them in the stateroom. The mast is currently in storage near SHANNON’s current slip. Port Annapolis Marina quoted 14-16 hours to rig + tune the mast. They charge $105 per hour for rigging. Other yards will charge less, but for the purposes here, I recommend budgeting $1800 to re-step the mast. For those that desire to transport this Catalina via truck, it is a benefit to keep the mast down until she reaches her new destination. The sails are currently in the aft stateroom. They look exceptionally clean to me. It is important to note that of those sold comps above; the vast majority had more hours. (Average hours are generally accepted at 100 hours per year. I will be happy to send out the comps to those that request via email.) Further note that those numbers reflect the average prices. In my experience, comps with high hours, significant flaws, and high wear and tear tend to sell below the average price. Those comps with low hours, few flaws, and low wear and tear tend to sell above the average price. WE ENCOURAGE ALL SERIOUS PARTIES TO INQUIRE AND LOOK AT SHANNON.
