Adventure Awaits. Stock #299481 ***SALE PENDING*** Beautiful 2005 CUSTOM-BUILT NORWALK ISLANDS SHARPIE 31' ketch! The Monkey's Fist is a 31' Norwalk Islands cruising ketch designed by marine architect Bruce Kirby and built by the Erickson Brothers. Launched in 2005 on Lake Pepin, she is a joy to sail and a thing of beauty. This vessel features a cold molded hull comprised of laminations of Western Red Cedar and Philippine Mahogany bonded with epoxy and skinned with fiberglass cloth infused with epoxy which combines the strength and flexibility of wood with the easy maintenance of fiberglass. Hollow Douglas Fir masts and spars finished bright with marine varnish. Dacron sails in Egyptian cotton tint made by UK Sails of Chicago including a mainsail, mizzen sail, working jib, storm jib, and a genoa. Bronze port lights, winches, cleats, and roller car tracks. A 9.9 HP Yamaha 4-stroke engine sits in an enclosed lazarette installed on a crane that allows the motor to be lifted form the water when sailing. With the centerboard up she draws less than 2 feet of water, but due to the 2500 lb keel shoe, she is self-righting. Gimbaled, stainless steel propane stove top and oven in the galley, and a propane grill for outdoor cooking. Propane tanks are located in their separate vented locker outside of the cabin. The boat has a 40-gallon freshwater capacity with a sink and a faucet in both the galley and the head which includes a self-composting toilet. Naturally finished woods thoughout include walnut, maple, Phillipine mahogany, Douglas Fir, Osage Orange and cedar. Sleeps 5 persons comfortably. The original building plans are included with the boat. Only sailed in freshwater

1979 Marine Innovators 32 Sandpiper Sharpie The Sandpiper 32 Sharpie was inspired by Bill Munroes Sharpie designs, built to be single handedly sailed in shallow water. Her Cat Ketch rig and wish bone booms, combined with rotating masts, allow you to set sail or reduce it by simply rolling the twin sails out or in. The two sails are self tending; combined with the auto pilot make it an easily sailed boat for one person. The twin bilge boards are hidden under the aft berths, so there is no centerboard trunk to get in the way. The boards up allow you to float in an incredible 20 inches of water. That means quiet anchorages. Boards down are over 5 feet giving you a good bite upwind. New as of August 2016: Anderson self tailing winches, charging ports for cell phones and devices, 14W solar panel for battery charging, Raymarine autopilot and new depth gauge. 2000 Custom Skimmer 25,The Skimmer 25 is a boat for all seasons. Easy to trailer to "up north" in Summer, south in Winter, to distant lakes or coastal areas. Wildhawk is kept on a lift, only in salt water under sail. Shoal draft allows use of about any boat ramp. Center board up less than 2ft draft. Center board down 4.5ft. Number 339 to roll out of the factory and it was made on 7-18-1966 built by some guy named Bill, it has been heavily modified for some reason (very modified motor, monrose controls, hydro trim tabs,4ft long 6 inch tall stainless runners on the bottom of the hull, small aluminum fuel cell, ect). Its amazing how well Donzi builds there boats, and how unique they are. On every one of those boats pre 1972 up under the deck in the bow of the boat there is a 12 by 12 sheet of fiber glass with hand written in sharpie specs of what day it was made what hull number and who made it. Mine shows c16-339, 7-18-66, Bill, all hand written by this bill guy who built the boat, I thought that was pretty cool took that they time to do that on each boat. 1966 donzi sweet 16 with a holman moody 351, now for the motor.......it has been modified beyond recognition, the guy said he had it dynoed just under 500hp at 7500 rpms. All I know about it is it has eldrbrock performe RPM high rise intake manifold, 650 holley carb, eldeborck cam, performer heads, roller rocker valve train, high comp pistons, and I believe it to still be the Holman Moody Block but I dont know. The interior is all new with factory correct vinyl minus the steering wheel which I have not replaced yet. Seats were done by Donzi marine restoration society and is showcased on their website. The hull is clean and has been recently repainted with original color scheme. There are two 4 ft long 5in tall aluminum fins on the bottom of the boat near the stern. Everything on the boat works great (motor/drive/electrical/hydros/ect) this boat is fast I have seen 60 and it sounds great. Trailer is included and has also been restored. All new wiring and LED lights, new wood bunks, felt wrap and rollers. All new tires and rims. Contact Seller 1989 Bolger Palo de Aqua,Commisioned in 1989 to be built by Atlas Boat Works using the plans from Phil Bolger for Palo de Aqua by the first owner. This shallow draft center board boat has an easily driven frp hull with a gaff mail sail with a sprit boom. It has 4 1/2 foot headroom with a galley, head, three settees, two singles and one double. Nicely finished interior. The Yanmar 2gm20f's propeller is protected by the shallow keel. The jib is on a roller furler curently, prior it was rigged with a balanced club jib. It has a garmin 542 gps-sounder, raymarine tiller autopilot, solar panel, and two batteries. It reminds me of a sharpie, but this has a rounded hull with a flush deck. The mast is free standing. The rigging is traditional with no winches. Bolger writes the design was based on stretching a 26 foot cat boat design. Ideal for coastal and river cruising, a large bay, or island life. Draft with the board up is 2'3".
