Per the Seller: The unit is very clean and has been very well maintained. The owner had both engines replaced with rebuilds, the port in 2016 and the starboard in 2022; and all the corresponding parts, new starter and alternator, of which the maintenance documentation is available by the marine shop that did the work. It is estimated that the current hours is 80 hours for port engine and 40 hours for the starboard since new rebuilt engines were installed. There is a small soft spot on the cabin floor next to the V-berth, where you step to get in and out of the V-berth. Seller will not be having this fixed, it will be up to the next owner. All the electronics are reported to be in working order. All photos are current and were taken by the seller and provided to the listing broker who is responsible for managing the listing The breakdown of the specs and features of the boat are available below the photo gallery of the listing for review. Up for sale is one of my sweet boats that would be a very nice classic cruising boat for somebody. It does need a little transom work but the small hole does not go through both layers of wood so a new piece of wood could be inserted in to fix. It has a built in 10-12 gallon fuel tank, Teleflex steering has been added and comes with canvas travel cover. Along the outside edge of the gunwales needs a little sanding and clear coat but that is the only place that needs varnish work but the driver side flip-out windshield needs a little glue and a screw also (see picture). The trailer is in good shape and pulls just fine and the tires are in good condition as are the bearings and the trailer lights do work. Boat has current registration but trailer does not have current registration. If the buy it now would be done then I would include a 1961? Johnson 40 HP outboard that does run and include some controls and wiring box. All of this fine project is being sold as is where is with local pickup only. Please message me with any questions I will be glad to help.

Restored Mastercraft trailer is also included. Current Wisconsin titles for both the trailer and boat. Have the original manuals for the motor, electric start option and Master Craft trailer brochure. You will never find another nicer Thompson Sea Coaster . This one is a gem. Just a note: all wood boats take on some water until they swell up. This is normal and this boat does that too.

This is a 1964 Thompson Sea Mate Deluxe wood boat. Boat needs total restoration, does have some dry rot, but is still very solid overall. This would be a very fun and reasonable project with great reward at the end, without a huge money investment compared to restoring a car. The trailer is registrared as a 1964 so I'm assuming its the orginal pair. Tires on the trailer are weather checked and I would not recommend travel at a long distance with them. If the boat sells for above $600 I will include brand new tires installed. Boat is complete minus the original 35hp Evinrude Lark engine, and also the front windshield is gone, I do have the side windows which are in great shape. Seats are in very usuable condition with only a couple minor tears. Dash padding is in good condition just needs some clean up. Take a look at pictures and please ask any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I have sold several boats and cars on ebay with great transactions, please do remember that this is a project boat that needs restoration. Buyer will need to pickup boat with 15 days of auction end, buyer is also responsible for all shipping charges and arrangements. If you need any specific pictures please let me know and I would be glad to take one. Thanks! Title to boat is current and up to date. Last picture is for viewing only of what the boat would look like finished, it is not a picture of the boat you are bidding on.

It’s not ofthen that you find a beautiful wooden boat that is also part of classic boat history. In the late 1950’s Glenn Thompson started a company in Wausaukee, WI called T&T boats. With a couple other former Thompson employees they set out to make the highest quality wood boat out there…. For sale is the FIRST boat T&T made in 1959 (displayed at the 1959 Milwaukee boat show then delivered to my grandfather)In the early 2000’s the boat was PROFRESSIONALLY RESTORED LIKE NEW CONDITIOIN. The wood all over this boat is beautiful… Since it was restored, the boat has NOT been in the water. After you notice the amazing condition this boat is in, take note there are two things about this boat that NO OTHET T&T and not may Thompson’s can say. -Most of the interior wood is Mahogany (uncommon) -All the ribbing is white oak The engine needs new carbs and spark plugs, and hasn’t been run in years. Pick up is entirely the responsibility of the buyer!!!! For an extra fee, half way transport can be made. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thompson_Boat http://acbs-bslol.com/restoration/restoration-notebook/thompsonmarine/

But if you ever get the impression that we're a bunch of land-bound stoplight junkies, you'd be highly mistaken. The Queen City has quite a lot to offer when it comes to water sports. And when you get the opportunity to sport something as awesome as this 1964 Hallett Barron Drag Boat, there's no better place to be! Believed to have served only three owners, this highly original, built-to-order classic mixes 440 cubic inches of RB V8 with classy pearl paint, a gorgeous Hawaiian Monkey-Pod hull, vintage tuck-and-roll upholstery and an original custom trailer. If you're shopping for a bad to the bone investment that's fun to look at, a blast to drive and ready to turn heads as soon as it rolls out of the showroom: congratulations, you've found your next obsession! HISTORY "I had no knowledge of either Hallett sale. I would have never let that boat out of our shop, with that Monkey-Pod deck." Jerry Barron of Hallett Boats When the head of the company that created your boat is quoted as saying he would've kept the hull for himself, you know you have one awesome ride! This 1964 Hallett Barron is a built-to-order classic that was 1 of only 100 produced and is believed to be 1 of only 4 still in existence. According to the folks at Hallett Boats, the vessel stayed with its original owner until his passing, and was eventually reacquired from that owner's children. As mentioned, Hallett then flipped the boat to its second owner, a California man. Some years later, when that California man decided to list the craft on eBay, the current owner spotted the listing but decided against a purchase. Then, about six months after the listing had expired, a deal was struck and the boat took up residence in Charlotte, North Carolina. HULL Officially classified as an 18-foot Hallett Drag Boat that's built around a Barron flat-bottom hull, this awesome craft is an immaculate, highly original cruiser that's been lightly freshened as needed. Since 2006, the boat has been regularly stored in a private, climate-controlled garage and, judging by its stellar appearance, probably hasn't seen severe weather since its 1964 debut. An original, never restored hull is crafted from rare Hawaiian Monkey-Pod wood that's completely cold-molded in a sturdy fiberglass shell. That 'glass is dressed in snazzy Pearl White and Metal Flake Red aesthetics. And overall, the boat is so clean that it could've freshly breached a 51-year-old time capsule. Inside, simplicity is the name of the game. An original Mahogany dash anchors an original Jones Motrola tachometer and original Stewart Warner accessory gauges in the sheen of original varnish. Flawless tuck-and-roll upholstery perfectly matches the boat's stylish paint. A solid floor frames a small forward/neutral shifter, a vintage Hall-Craft throttle pedal and an inconspicuous kill switch. And the driver navigates water through a classy Teak steering wheel. ENGINE That mention of 'simplicity' brings to mind another buzzword: 'speed'. And, thanks to the boat's 440 cubic inch RB V8, its proud new owner will certainly enjoy both 'speed' and 'simplicity'! More popular than the famed Hemi, Chrysler's stalwart 440 was designed to be the automotive industry's best combination of comfort, reliability and big block performance. Oxygen whips from stylized California Custom Accessories air cleaners to big Carter carburetors, which ride on a coated Weiand intake. At the front of that intake, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor spins between a mild cam and thick MSD Super Conductor plug wires. At the sides of those wires, polished Mickey Thompson valve covers perfectly complement over the transom tail pipes and water-cooled Glenwood exhaust manifolds. And a high quality Casale V-drive, threaded through a chrome driveshaft safety ring, keeps everything in motion. Naturally, the Metal Flake monster sips fuel through braided fluid lines, which are piped to a duo of manually switched gas tanks. The aforementioned shifter controls an in-and-out transmission that's devoid of reverse. And polished Nicson covers, a reproduction MoPar battery and aircraft-quality steering cables complete the old school look. TRAILER A prestigious trophy just doesn't pop without a cool display. In the case of this memento, that display is a custom trailer that, as far as we can tell, appears to be original equipment. Predictably, the rig is covered in the same Pearl White paint that adorns the boat's hull. Everything rides on painted steel wheels, which lap a quartet of 6.50-15 BF Goodrich Silvertown whitewalls around dent-free trim rings and smooth center caps. And, as you might expect, the trailer has lived the majority of its life stored indoors. If you get the impression that we've grown particularly fond of this Hallett, you'd be exactly right! Rare and interesting classics ALWAYS get our blood flowing. And this stylish wave crusher, with its incredible performance, striking originality and precise craftsmanship, is dripping with the scarce qualities that literally define the term "unique". If you're looking for a fresh way to enjoy a little motorized speed, here's your chance to make some serious waves! About This Auction Please note that all sales are binding and final. Be seen in this beautiful 1957 Century Palomino with a matching era trailer. Last refinished about 3 years ago. Could use another coat of varnish, but is fine the way it is. Take a look at the pictures (taken 2/25/2017) and make an offer. This boat catches attention every where it goes. Solid from top to bottom, no rot anywhere. Made of Mahogany. Yes, it leaks, it's a wooden boat!!! Wood needs to swell before it seals. Beautiful craftsmanship in this gem. Engine is a good running 85 HP Evinrude. Carbs rebuilt, new hoses, new impeller, gearcase seals. Not run since rebuild. Trailer is a Tee-Nee with very unique fenders. Clear title on boat and trailer.
