1985 Trojan 10 Meter Sedan This is not your average 1985 Trojan.   There are many updates.   The exterior has been repainted, the saloon flooring has been replaced, the engines have been rebuilt with only 242 hours, electronics have been replaced, new galley equipment, all new canvas 2016 and much much more.   The engine room is immaculate as is the rest of the boat. This is a very nice convertible that is ready to go.   You will not find this much boat for this price anywhere.

Standard single-stateroom interior with expansive salon was updated in 1989 to include a stall shower in the head -- A modification that took some elbow space out of the bow stateroom. Two-stateroom floorplan also became available in 1989. Standard 350hp gas engines cruise at 17-18 knots and reach a top speed in the mid 20s.

0 0 1 572 3261 gb 27 7 3826 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1 month ago this was a beautifully restored sportfishing yacht. She was basically a frame off restoration. Two new rebuilt Detroit 6-71 TIs with new long blocks purchased from Detroit Diesel. The rebuilds have less than 100 hours on them. Every electrical wire, terminal, grounding post, gauge, a/c & d/c panel was ripped out and replaced with new. A new 8 kw Norpro Gen. A complete Garmin 5000 series electronics package. Home theater sound system with 3 TVs with plenty of speakers up top for the "out side party". Exterior was painted with DuPont Imron. The exterior and interior was reupholstered and and the interior completely refurbed with real cherry wood walls, cabinets and doors. The reason I mention all of this is to emphasis that we did not restore this boat to flip it for resale. We spared no expense. When something needed to be replaced, we replaced it with the best. We upgraded everything with the idea of keeping her long term. It was a joint venture between two families with a lot of kids.... thus the name "Family Affair". Sadly, a port shaft packing put her on the soft sand bottom at the dock. Both engines, all salon level upholstery, cherry wood, and lower level electrical components were submerged. Both engines, turbos, and transmissions were properly pickled and saved by Palm Beach Yacht Center. The marina has run both drive systems for at least one hour every other day and changed all fluids 3 times. Palm Beach Yacht Center will certify that both port and starboard drive systems, including transmissions, are running perfectly. Shafts, rudders, props, and all running gear are in perfect condition due to the soft sand bottom she rested on when she went down. Everything on the flybridge level never went under and is still in perfect operational condition. We do not have the time or energy to restore her again. But, we hope we can hand her off to to someone who has the desire and vision to do so. The main listing pic, and pics 17 - 23 are of her in her glory. I included them to help you envision what this yacht's potential is fully restored. The remainder of the pics are "post-wet". Amazingly, the cherry interior survived much better than we expected. You can see that clearly from the pics. Most all cabinets, walls, and moldings appear fine. I think with some smart refinishing and a replacement of all doors and drawer fronts, the cherry interior is salvageable. Obviously, all lower lever electrical wiring and components need to be replaced (with the exception of starters which are new and were necessary to save the engines). Exterior teak is still in great condition and we have full custom canvas covers for the flybridge, cockpit, windshields, hatches, and windlass/remote spot/teak pulpit. The custom built aluminum top cost $10k and was worth every penny when you look at the pics. The hull is undamaged and in pristine condition. Yes, that means you will not find a blister on the bottom of this one (which is a common problem on some Trojan hulls). Our hope is to find a project boat buyer with a little vision who wants to buy her as a package. If we don't find such a buyer, we will consider selling the engines and trannies separate from the hull. There is a 2 kw high speed Garmin transducer with fairing block (cost $2,000) that is glassed into the hull. With the exception of that, the electronics package that stayed dry up in the flybridge is NOT included in the sale of the boat. However, if it is desired, it can be purchased separately. Pre-inspection can be arranged. Contact me for more information, specifications, or additional photos. This sale is for a vessel in AS-IS condition and the sale is final. Transportation costs is the buyer's responsibility.

BosSeaII is a Trojan 10 meter sedan outfitted for sportfishing and entertaining. The boat has 330 hours on two newer Yanmar 6ysl 345HP Diesel engines. The generator has 192 hours and just underwent a complete service. The boat has been cosmetically and mechanically updated over the last 3 months. Every switch, cable, line and hatch has been inspected and gone over. The boat has had 65 hours put on it in the last month and a half. The boat recently went to Catalina where she performed beautifully. Everything works and works perfectly. $85,000 dollars was invested in the engines, transmissions, generator, wiring and drive train in 2001. Since then the boat has had almost no usage. The boat has just had a survey completed. All noted problems were addressed and fixed. You are welcome to see it. Every piece of documentation since the boat was purchased is on hand. Down to the original sales invoice. I have the Coast Guard Abstract and anything else you can think of. The cosmetic refit in 2015 cost a total of $29,000. If you know boats then you know that Trojan yachts are built like a tank. The hull is extremely thick and the design makes for great performance and stability at anchor. Here is the information related to the mechanical refit in 2001.
