By using this site, you agree to our Terms of Use. Contact Seller 1979 Trojan F 36, I purchased this boat in Mystic Conneticut in 2004. Repowered in 2007. Bottom was stripped and recoated in 2008 removing everything down to the gel coat. Port engine inboard manifold allowed water in engine in 2013. Installed rebuilt engine with new manifold. Stb engine has 427 hours. Port engine has 23 hours. Both engines run great. All interior and exterior wood was refinished in 2013. All floor boards were removed, sanded, and painted, top and bottom. New carpet installed 2014. All aluminum window and door trim was sanded and sprayed black in 2013. All door and cabinet hardware was removed, cleaned and polished in 2013. Other items installed or replaced since ownership are: Maxwell Freedom 800 Windless, 300' anchor rode, both bilge pumps, AC cooling pump, all interior fabrics and curtains, LED salon and cockpit lights, domestic water pump, both engine fresh and saltwater pumps, both engine alternators and fuel pumps, all exhaust manifolds, risers, and elbows, battery charger, batteries, trim tab cylinders and hoses, wood swim platform struts replaced with stainless steel, Dripless shaft couplings, shore power cords, cockpit rod racks-14 rods, 10 rod holders, Outriggers. All records and original owners manual available. All components are new including, top of the line tires, new brake lines, bearings and drums.Engine Specs: Ron Sporl built, Dual 502's, Naturally Aspirated, Chevy Engines, Bored out to 548 cubic inch, 609.8 h.p. each at 5900 and torque 636 ft. lbs. at 4700. Outdrives: XR drives, bravo ones converted to XR drives. . .. Spent $10,000 for upgrade.The engines have Holley 1050 carburetors. The ignition is MSD, the motors have oil coolers. The motors where built by Ron Sporl Engine Building. The entire set up in the engine compartment is high performance, built to last and ready to go. The motors have approximately 280 hours on them. The outdrives have been upgraded to XR drives and will handle the H.P. The outdrives were upgraded in 2015 and have approx. 30 hours on them. The battery system is new and top of the line and is made by Trojan. Spent over $1,200 in new batteries.Rebuild of the Donzi: The boat went through a complete refit in 2015. Including new trims, rub rail, sealed and rebedded the hull/deck joint, new windshield, LED lighting, top gel coat, the boat looks in excellent condition.Interior: Completely redone interior, tempurpedic queen size berth, flat screen T.V., ice maker, frig, two sinks, head, new LED color changing lighting throughout.Shound: (4) 12" Rockwood Fosgate 12" subs, multiple speakers, and tweets, CD Player, bluetooth, XM/Serius radio.The Donzi's top speed is 105 mph. The boat handles the Ocean effortlessly. It has trim tabs. If taken to the lake it is as stable as if being on level concrete. This boat has been owned by the second owner for over 20 years.
