11,000 You are bidding on one elegant 1991 "Duffy" (Duffield) electric launch, a "Classic 18", the predecessor of the "Snug Harbor", seen at the manufacturer's site, here: http://www.duffyboats.com/ , in excellent condition. This great little boat is 18' LOA, 7' of beam and draws less than 30". She is powered by an inboard electric motor, fed by 6 massive 12v telecom batteries in 2 banks, and makes about 5-6 mph. She will run at that speed for about 6 hours, or at 4 knots for 8 - 10 hours, all in virtually complete silence, with no exhaust or fuel smell. Comes equipped with: running lights, a LOUD horn (if you have a little boat, you need a big horn), depth sounder, a canvas top that covers the full length of the cockpit (this will need replacement in the near future), a windscreen, a 4-speaker internal amp that may be driven by an iPod or other portable audio device, cockpit lights, cocktail table, small lighted & mirrored bar, three-year old full-length cushions, under-seat and under-step stowage, a high grade "smart" charger for the propulsion batteries and a light duty "smart" charger for the domestic 12v battery. We just finished a complete detailing, including removing all of the old bottom paint and re-painting in ablative red bottom paint and buffing the topsides and cockpit. She seats 8 and costs next to nothing to operate - one summer we used it 2 -3 days a week for several hours each and all day one weekend day for a month during which month the cost of re-charging the batteries was $1.08. Enough of the technical stuff, make a close pass by the local yacht club and this darling cruiser is your guaranteed invitation for cocktails. Impress your friends and confound your enemies; make those goobers in the big, loud dope-boats grit their teeth when their girlfriends say, "Oh, look at that nice boat, Sweetie!", and to irk them further, her name is "Actual Size". Also included are: Ample (6 or so) rubber fenders - nearly new 3 anchors - 1 mushroom, 1 danforth-type & 1 navy stockless Probably a boat hook or two if we find any Small Midland hand-held vhf marine radio Rear view mirror (to warn of overtaking dope-boats) 30 amp shore power cord (boat has a bult-in socket) Dock lines Life jackets: 4 children's, 4 adult AND!!! approximately 250 cheap plastic water pistols Stylish and eco-friendly, she crosses dry spots on a custom fitted trailer with a new tongue jack and led lights, or is happy being frozen in over the winter (her round hull just rides up. Priced at 3/4 her current insured value of $14,500. Check out: this video and get set for calm, quiet, classy and economical floating fun.
