She has 3 Doyle sails, a Genoa, 100% jib, and a main all made for this boat 7 years ago. Main sail cover is 2 years old, needs some repair to the leading edge. The boat has been used very little since I bought 3 years ago. Kept on a mooring in a marina during the summer and removed from the water during the winter for storage. The foresails have a roller furling system, Jib and main sheets all have Harken ratchet blocks,. The furling and halyards are all led to the cockpit to allow single handed sailing. The 2013 Honda 2.3 motor comes with it. The boom vang is rigid so it supports the boom, making raising and lowering the main easier...no boom lift to mess around with. It had no cushions when we bought it and it still doesn't since the goal was primarily day sailing. There is no trailer.Owner must collect.Payment by cheque

"America's Littlest Yacht," this 1973 classic Carl Alberg-designed beauty looks and handles like a much bigger boat. It's a guaranteed head-turner -- stand by for thumbs-ups from passing boats! Swift and stable, its full-keel design tracks very well, making it ideal for coastal New England. Roller-furling jib and main included, rigged for spinnaker. Very new 2013 solar-charged, 6-circuit 24-AGM electrical system, w/Raytheon depth-finder, automatic electric bilge pump, LED cabin and running lights. Lightly used 2002 Honda 2.2-hp, 4-cycle, air-cooled outboard motor starts on the first pull, and had a professional overhaul in May. Moves the boat along crisply at 4.5 to 5 knots. This boat is sail-away ready. No trailer included, but its shallow 2'7" draft and 2,000-pound displacement makes the Typhoon an easily trailerable boat. Marina haul-out and dry storage fees are paid through September, if you need time to arrange transport. Three coats of blue Interlux Schooner anti-fouling bottom paint, sanded and primed in 2013, no blisters of any kind. Anti-slip blue deck and cockpit floor coating on solid, white fiberglass hull. New spreaders, standing rigging, windex, Genoa sheets. Sails not new but years of good sailing ahead. Blue Sunbrella mainsail cover, UV-block Sunbrella fabric on trailing edge of jib acts as furled cover. Custom Sunbrella Bimini and clear plexiglass Dodger (!) with stainless supports for sun/rain protection while under way. Lots of other gear, too much to mention. Just launched June 12 for the season, now gently bobbing on its mooring near the southern end of Route 123 in the scenic lobster-fishing town of South Harpswell. No lowball offers, please: I'd rather keep it!

For Sale is my 1966 Tartan 27. I own this boat for almost 3 years and have spend countless days of restoring it. It still needs some TLC, but mostly cosmetic. I'm not going to write anymore at this time, if I were to mention every detail about this boat I would have to write a book. So just email, text, call and look at the boat. It is ready to take you any time and anywhere. This is one of the world famous Blue Water Pocket Cruisers. Not your fly by night weekender or coastal cruiser. This is the real deal. Not many of them around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHhp3dxUr5o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep7Ka68cAIw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep7Ka68cAIw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0_InBV-rdE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFRm3cgKX9I Restoration work already done: Deck Gel Coat completely removed (sanded down to the FG). Added several layers of heavy Glass Mats to the whole deck. Injected resin into the Deck core at soft spots. There are no leaks or soft spots throughout the deck. Rebuilt Cabin Hatch with wood and Fiberglass. Very sturdy and no leakage. Installed new Lexan (unbreakable) main cabin windows. Sealed with the strongest RTV Silicone. This is the same silicone that's used for sealing engine oil pans. Removed all other window frames and resealed with RTV Silicone. Completely rebuilt interior floor with pressure treated plywood and Fiberglass. Reinforced Mast footer with several layers of Fiberglass. Removed engine, cleaned, checked and painted. New Raw water pump, new mixing elbow, new muffler. Completely rebuilt engine bed with pressure treated plywood and several layers of Fiberglass. Installed engine with new upgraded motor mounts. Installed new electric head flushing system. The boat has no waste water holding tank. Only direct discharge. By law the head can only be used when at least 9 miles offshore. I do most my sailing much further out, so for me that wasn't a problem. For closer coastal cruising there would be the need for a holding tank or the use of a portable toilette. Installed remote control electric winch to self hoist to the top of the mast. This is a very unique and safe feature when used with a bosins chair and safety lines. Can be done completely single handed. I'm scared of heights but with this setup I winched myself up to the top of the mast and installed the new VHF antenna. All new 1/2" Halyards for Main and Head Sails. I also replaced every other working rope / halyard with brand new highest quality materials. All new LED interior and exterior lighting / navigation lighting. Front LED wide beam spotlight to see in the dark. I rebuilt the whole interior using mostly wood . Still needs some work but not too much. Boat is extremely clean and pleasant inside. Great Alpine CD / Radio sound system with (4) 6.5" Coaxial Speakers (2 kicker, 2 JBL). It really sounds fantastic. Brand new Standard Horizon VHF fixed mounted Marine Radio and Standard Horizon hand held for backup. Both fully waterproofed. 2 new marine fire extinguishers. 2 new batteries. New 100W Highest quality solar panel installed with charging regulator. Keeps both batteries fully charged, never have to use shore power. 1500 W Power Inverter for 110V. All new electrical wiring, switches and panels. New digital Dept sounder. 2 GPS Chart-plotters, 1 outside (Standard Horizon), 1 inside for backup (Garmin). Completely rebuild over the last five years, this C&C 27 Mk V is one of the best sailing boats in her size range. With a shoal draft keel only drawing 3 feet, she is perfect for the Chesapeake. The new hybrid electric propulsion system by Electric Yachts makes her a perfect day-sailor/weekender. No expense has been spared on her upgrades and nearly every system has been replaced. Including: engine, batteries, refrigerator, electrical system, sailing instruments, cushions, head, hatches, deck hardware, running rigging, etc... With over $40k invested, "Being Little" is a turn key yacht ready for you to enjoy. We regret selling her, but have purchased a larger yacht and can't take care of both. She needs a new home and someone to enjoy her as much as we have.

“Firefly” A refitted 1974 Sea Sprite 23 Weekender with 2009 Triad Trailer and 2013 Honda 5 hp 4 stroke outboard. A very unique boat with thoughtful and well-engineered upgrades by an experienced single handed sailor. Equipped with only top of the line hardware and equipment from Harken, Lewmar, Spinlock, Quantum, Doyle, Dwyer, Spartan Marine Bronze, Newfound Metals, Waterline Systems. No reasonable expense spared. This is a great sailing boat. I am only putting her on the market because I am interested in buying a larger sailboat to do some extended cruising. All of the really difficult repair and upgrade jobs have been done. All work is photo documented. I have archived my Notes/material lists/photos and will copy to a DVD for the new owner. The boat comes complete and ready to sail away. I estimate that it would take several years and even more money than I have invested currently, to reproduce her at this point. You will be entirely self-sufficient from the boatyards if you wish. Launch, haul and store her yourself. Complete boat/motor/trailer package with many extras including winter cover system and custom mast raising system. She is practically turn-key and would only merit some discretionary expenditure at this point. $12,500 or near reasonable offer for the package Highlights: · 1974 Sea Sprite 23 Weekender (with self-bailing cockpit and bridgedeck), Hull # 537, built by Wickford Shipyard. Rig by Dwyer. All standing and running rigging, spreaders, jumpers, replaced 2009/2010.· Custom features not found on any other SS 23 include a custom tabernacle mast step, A-frame mast raising system, custom chainplate upgrade using Spartan Marine bronze chainplates, NewFound Metals bronze opening portlights, new modern bow and stern pulpits by Waterline Systems, custom bow anchor roller sprit, lazarette deck/locker refit, numerous other bronze hardware by Spartan. · Soft spots under mast step, under port aft stanchion base and in lazarette area all recored/redone in 2009/2010. · Complete deck refit, all hardware replaced and rebedded, new full pulpit/lifeline system, new toerails, deck/hull joint, new Lewmar Ocean 40 foredeck hatch, and Interlux Interdeck beige paint; all redone in 2010.· 2009 Triad Trailers custom float off trailer, single axle, with winch ladder stand on front, spare wheel/tire, pair of 10000 lb straps, misc pads, blocks, ladder, etc for towing and parking. Trailer refit in 2013 with a new Tie Down Engineering surge disc brake system, disc brake surge coupler, chains, brake lines, front wheel jack. · 2013 Honda 5 hp 4 stroke long shaft outboard with low pitch prop, tank, gas line. Under 20 hours use, stored in heated storage in winter. · Quantum main (2009) with single reef, full top batten, partial battens, loose footed. Quantum hank on jib is 120%, older, but in decent shape. 2012 Doyle asymmetrical spinnaker. Sailrite sailcover.· Gear included: Plastimo compass on cabin bulkhead, 15 lb CQR plow anchor with 15 feet of chain, 100’ rode, cockpit mounted bilge pump w/handle, 2 lifejackets, safety flare kit, fire extinguisher, lifesling, 4 throwable cushions, 2 fenders, assorted dock lines, boat hook, Abus bronze combo padlocks for cabin and outboard (plus locking cable for outboard), halyard organizer bag mounted in cockpit, teak winch handle holder, winch handle, small canvas gear organizer bags in cabin.· Custom winter cover system from Kover Klamps includes conduit frame, clamps, cover, cover clips and assorted line and padding to setup and cover her for the winter. All labeled, with some photos. As of the time of this writing (Sep 2014) there are three ( discretionary spend ) projects remaining on my list, that I would undertake if I were to keep Firefly. The topsides gelcoat is “tired.” I clean with “On and Off” stain remover each season, then compound and wax. It looks ok but to really make her mint I would repaint her. I didn’t completely finish the interior last winter; ie the cutouts from the sink and icebox module should be glassed over. While she doesn’t need it, I have considered that a jib roller furler would be a nice addition (along with a new jib) Lastly, this summer was the second season on the current coat of bottom paint, which is showing some flaking so she will probably need a fresh coat for 2015. Detailed year by year project refit commentary and additional photos or other details available on request. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

Solid and pretty 1976 Cal 2-29 with great running and easy starting diesel inboard. Boat is solid, with needs for repairs that a handyman type would love to do (mainsail halyard needs replaced, should be pulled this winter to clean bottom and give her a new coat of paint, the port in the head needs replacing, some interior woodwork needs replacing, cushions could be recovered.) We were very excited about cleaning her up and sailing but we have recently moved and can no longer own a sailboat. This is a great opportunity to get a boat that, with a little bit of effort, would be a gorgeous day tripper, weekender, or could be easily be made ready for extended trips. Boat is very dry, does not have that wet smell that you so often find with boats of this age. Engine starts easily and runs strong. The boat is very dry. Includes Mainsail, Jib, Genoa, and storm job. New batteries (2014), new VHF Radio. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.Clear title. Great boat. Would consider delivery for $4 per mile.
