2017 Bossman Skimmer Lodge 18'
The Skimmer Lodge Edition is an extreme shallow water fishing skiff that has been designed specifically for the skinny water anglers experience. It runs & drafts in just 5. The transom is recessed in back so it does not squat, it has a patented air pressure tunnel vent system that dramatically improves performance & reduces cavitation as is common with other tunnel designs. Tunnel strakes reduce slide to a minimum. The modified V entry hull design along with large reverse chines contribute to a smooth dry ride. The beam is a full 84 with walk around gunnels making it a very stable fishing platform. Large casting deck forward & large fishing area aft makes room for multiple anglers. The Skimmer is built in either a 16 ft or 18 ft overall length. The 16 Skimmer is rated for a maximum of 50 hp with GPS speeds of 28 mph with a Suzuki 50 hp. The 18 Skimmer is rated for a maximum of 90 hp and has GPS speeds of 32 mph with a Mercury 60hp 4 stroke high thrust.
The Lodge Edition Skimmer features a low maintenance gel coat textured deck finish with polymer walk-on grid support hatch lids.
